** Despite being a general gaming channel, the Yogscast (or at least Lewis and Simon) are almost universally known as '''the''' ''VideoGame/{{Minecraft}}'' channel [[note]][[CaptainObvious besides the official one]][[/note]]: Notch, the creator of ''Minecraft'', frequently [[{{Twitter}} tweets]] about the Yogscast's ''Minecraft'' videos, and at [=GamesCon=] 2011 they officially represented ''Minecraft''. Simon even got to wear Notch's hat! They've also gotten to play competitive ''VideoGame/TeamFortress2'' matches with Notch for charity.

** After the crackdown on parodies, fans have been forced to reupload some copies. Having said that, some songs have been LostForever, notably Hat Films' "It's the Most Wonderful Stream of the Year".

The video has since been pulled from his channel but is still available on the Yogscast website.

** Strippin was asked to make a video about ''Franchise/{{Divergent}}''. He agreed and initially had fun, but later expressed concerns with the finished product, only uploading it because [[http://www.reddit.com/r/Yogscast/comments/2y8e2m/this_isnt_even_a_game_why_is_strippin_making_a/ the sum was enough to cover two months of rent]]. The video has been pulled from his channel.

** LetsPlay/InTheLittleWood mentioned the possibility of playing ''TabletopGame/CardsAgainstHumanity'' as part of the charity livestreams, but this was later ruled out on grounds of taste. Longtime friend Daltos later did an unofficial Yogscast ''CAH'' stream, but with no actual members joining him.

** As a result of the ''Film/{{Pixels}}'' disaster, Hannah has expressed her annoyance with fans assuming that the Yogscast were responsible, despite explaining ''at length'' what happened. One can scarcely blame her.

** As a result of the ''Film/{{Pixels}}'' disaster, Hannah has developed a dislike of the /r/[=RantYogscast=] subreddit. * BigNameFan: A freelance editor and Yognaut called Ryan Horton, known as [=YorkieRaz=], has made a couple of montage videos that the Yogscast in general went on to use. He was even commissioned to make one for LetsPlay/{{Strippin}} after he was piled up with work. When he donated in the 2014 livestreams, he got a ShoutOut from Lewis, Simon and Strippin for all his hard work. Strippin has since hired him seemingly full time to increase productivity.

* AwesomeDearBoy: [[http://lomadia.tumblr.com/post/125756921838/myhiddensass-i-wanted-to-do-actual-calculations Hannah's gone on record to admit that]] irrespective of the Flux Buddies and her getting very little screentime for]] ''Trials of Derpulies'', she's just happy to be playing ''Minecraft'' on the main channel with friends.

** [=DaveChaos=] [[http://davechaos.tumblr.com/post/108639906279/i-quit-tumblr-because#notes deleted his Tumblr]] because he was routinely being harassed by fans. LetsPlay/KirinDave, a longtime friend of the Yogscast, also did the same thing, and Hannah has seriously contemplated doing the same.

** LetsPlay/HannahRutherford has admitted to being fed up of Tumblr, in part due to fans that deem her content problematic without watching it and in part due to some incredibly warped fanfiction which she understandably wasn't amused by, as well as false accusations of sponsored content not being declared. She has seriously contemplated leaving the site a few times. She's also ''strongly'' discouraged people rushing the Yogs in public, after seeing a well-meaning but naive post for a group of Yogs that nearly rushed Zoey and Fiona at an LGBT+ pride parade, which would have seriously worsened Zoey's anxiety.

* CreatorBacklash: The Yogscast, in particular Lewis, do not seem terribly fond of the time that Gamechap and Bertie were members, having publicly mocked them many times in livestreams, as well as on social media.

* OldShame: Lewis has publicly voiced his disapproval of the Yogscast's prior involvement with GameChap, openly bashing them in the 2014 livestreams.

** GameChap and his friend Bertie were eventually recruited into the Yogscast, but were removed after a very rude response to some relatively mild criticism on the subreddit. Unlike the first two, they've been able to keep some sort of web presence since their removal.

** [=DaveChaos=] left Tumblr because he was getting overwhelmed with irrational fandom behaviour.

** Hannah and Duncan were initially going to do a playthrough of ''VideoGame/GrandTheftAutoV'' for PC, but the numerous delays caused them to both lose interest. The possibility of it happening in the future has not been ruled out, but it's very unlikely at this point.
