* SpellMyNameWithAnS: Leaving the insanity of Tzuyu's name (noted on the Main page) aside, other members also get hit by this.
** Originally, Jeongyeon's name was transliterated as "Jungyeon even though it's basically the same Korean vowel in both syllables. Some fans still use this earlier spelling.
*** That same "yeo" vowel (ã…•) is spelled as "yu" by Dahyun and "you" by Chaeyoung – the latter is a pre-reform Romanization still used by many Koreans including JYP himself.
** Nayeon's family name is spelled 임 ("Im") in Korean, but this is due to mandated spelling reforms in both Romanization and Hangeul itself since the Korean War. The underlying hanja (Chinese character) of her name, 林, was traditionally spelled "Lim" or "Rim" (림), but Korean no longer allows initial-consonant "r/l" in "native" words. That said, official English subtitles of Twice content invariably spell her last name "Lim" even though everyone else (including Wiki/ThatOtherWiki) uses "Im". Nayeon herself has yet to address the discrepancy.

*** In Twice's Youtube documentary, Seize The Light, Jihyo stated that she was initially very upset that Minyoung failed to make the cut for Twice, as they had been friends for years by that point. Minyoung is also the only girl from SIXTEEN to make it to the final round of the show but ultimately not debut.

to:

** In late 2015, JYPE fully intended to market Twice in Taiwan and there was obvious interest on both sides for them to perform there considering their Taiwanese "visual". After the Flag Incident, however, any possible plans fell through and, as of 2022, Twice still has not performed on the island. They have not performed in Mainland China either. They did make an appearance at an 2018 awards show in Hong Kong. That, Singapore, and Malaysia are really the only places where Tzuyu has gotten to show off that, yes, her mother tongue is Mandarin.

* IKnewIt: An uncommonly Heartwarming example for "Feel Special." Although the snippets of the song could be interpreted as lyrics to another romantic-themed track, and the full song itself has lyrics that hypothetically could be applied to romantic love as well as any other kind, many fans correctly predicted that the music video would center on friendship or platonic love. This is due to Mina having recently been diagnosed with anxiety disorder, which arrived during an overall difficult time for herself, the group, and fans alike where she had to take breaks from Twice. As recovery from mental health issues is a long, long road, it would make sense that her comeback music video features messages of Mina, and anyone else grappling with mental health issues, not being alone in their pain.
