* HostilityOnTheSet: With Brad choosing to stay at Channel Awesome, his friendship with Creator/AllisonPregler has turned into mudslinging contest. Even if some allegations are more weighty than others, others chimed in with their own grievances. Brad's stance has always been that "Change The Channel" is nothing more than petty complaints fraught with half-truths and lies. Some rabid supporters harassed Brad's wife after her father's death. Laura accusing them of "swatting" and Brad's mother calling Allison out on Twitter didn't help. It's unfortunate that these people are in their thirties and still "responding" to one another via retweets and [=YouTube=] comments.

He also is unwilling to re-upload reviews with "Porn" in the title to the site (which led him to turn to [=PornHub=] for those episodes), and its copyright policies forced him to abandon "Believe It or Not" as the show's theme.
* ScrewedByTheLawyers: At times, new episodes will be taken down due to the reviewed work's distributor issuing a copyright claim. Brad himself has started to refer to such removals as "Lionsgated" given that studio caused the first case with Hillary's America (twice!) and did it again with Diary of Mad Black Woman. As MissingEpisode above shows, new episodes usually return following an appeal, but at least one old one (Can't Stop the Music) seems to be nixed right upon upload.

** Creator/BradJones was inspired to create the series after watching Creator/RogerEbert's review of Film/FridayThe13thTheFinalChapter. He said that the review "made me think of how odd it is in general to see film snobs try to review horror or exploitation films...I'm reviewing these movies the same way a pretentious cinema snob would and I'm trying to give some laughs at the expense of the movies to people like me who really do love exploitation films."
** He based the Snob's appearance and voice on an audience member he saw at a Q&A panel for Creator/GeorgeARomero, who told Romero how he had interpreted Film/MonkeyShines as a metaphor for evolution and the bond between animal and man.

** Sometimes, Brad-As-Himself and Cinema Snob verbally disagree with one another as if they're in the same room; Cinema Snob hates everything, while Brad loves horrible movies, so of course they clash.

You Tube's 4:3 player renders this entry useless.

* UnintentionalPeriodPiece: At the end of the Zero In and Scream review, the Snob complains that the DVD isn't even in widescreen, then looks up to notice that his review isn't in widescreen either, and claps his hands to add black bars to the top and bottom of the screen. The review was made back when [=YouTube=] used a 4:3 player, so the bars would've given the review the intended widescreen effect at the time of the review's release. However, when watching the review on a now-standard 16:9 player, all the Snob ends up doing is further letterboxing himself.
