* AlternateCharacterInterpretation: Marianne, Inoue of the Black Knights and Cornelia are all given this treatment.

He said that before that Cornelia was nothing more to him than just another [[TheBaroness cool villain]]. And the rest is history.

** In drafting an idea for Mashiro's shikai the author originally opted to give her a CoolBike and model her Shikai to make her something like an Expy of Comicbook/GhostRider or {{Lobo}} only to realize the time frame in which she would've had to have gotten said Shikai and realized how AwesomeButImpractical the idea was and therefore scrapped it.
