* ReferencedBy: ''WesternAnimation/YoungJustice2010'' episode "First Impression" has the Newsgirl Legion teens Tommi Thompkins channeling Fred, Gabi Gabrielli channeling Daphne, and Big Words channeling Velma (who even has a brief gag about losing "[her] spectacles") as they conduct a mystery investigation in their small town of Brooklyn. Tommi shares her name with her father, Mayor Tommy Thompkins, who not only doesn't bear any physical resemblance to her at all, but also doesn't want her and her friends conducting investigations, to the point that he's willing to have them arrested. Mayor Thompkins and Sheriff Patrick Maguire also resemble Mayor Jones and Sheriff Stone in terms of physical appearance and mannerisms. Additionally, Sheriff Maguire's voice actor, Creator/TroyBaker, does an impersonation of Creator/PatrickWarburton's performance. And per standard of ''Scooby-Doo'' media, the episode's villain, Whisper A'Daire, complains as she's arrested that she would've gotten away with it if it wasn't for ThoseMeddlingKids. Creator/GregWeisman, one of the show's co-creators, is a friend of Victor Cook, one of ''Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated'''s head writers, as they've both previously worked on ''WesternAnimation/TheSpectacularSpiderMan'' together. The show's other co-creator, Brandon Vietti, also worked on some of the ''[[WesternAnimation/ScoobyDooDirectToVideoFilmSeries Scooby-Doo]]'' DTV films, including ''WesternAnimation/ScoobyDooWrestlemaniaMystery'', which contained a {{cameo}} appearance from Megan, Zatanna, Artemis, and Cassie.

* GodNeverSaidThat: Although ''Mystery Incorporated'' Velma is confirmed by WordOfGay to be a lesbian, this has been taken by the general audience to mean that ''all'' her incarnations are lesbian, likely due to people not being aware that ''Scooby-Doo'' has multiple continuities. This is despite her showing interest in men without issue, including Shaggy, in various films.

You know, he is slightly, he’s a little bit Asperger’s-y, you know, with his obsession with traps and his inability to sort of read human emotions properly and everything. So again, we never said this in the series, but this is what we, this was what was in our minds.”

* {{Bowdlerize}}: Due to its near-death themes & extensive levels of dark-ish content, the entire 3rd Act of Episode 49 is replaced by the replay of Act 2 in Boomerang's Asian airings. This made a plot hole on how the gang went to the tomb already.

* SeriesContinuityError: Although only a mirror error, in the final episode of the series, Come Undone, after the Entity gets released, the ground opens in Crystal Cove and reveals huge pits of lava underneath. However, after the sarcophagus gets destroyed and everything starts getting sucked in, the lava is mysteriously turned into water, thus, creating a huge river below the destroyed Crystal Cove. This is never explained why or how it happens, but it can be assumed that the portal opening, also sucked the lava? Unlikely. One cool fact is that now Crystal Cove resembles destroyed floating mountains, floating in the middle of space, similair to where Nova was talking in the opening.
