* The video for ''Thanks That Was Fun'' features all ''six'' members of Barenaked Ladies, as it was a montage of their previous music videos. Of course, Steven Page (who was in the band at the time), Ed Robertson, Kevin Hearn, Tyler Stewart, and Jim Creeggan are featured prominently, but in a few blink-and-you-miss-it moments you can catch glimpses of their original keyboardist [[ThePeteBest Andy Creeggan]].
** Also true of the video for Pollywog in a Bog (Andy is the second fox).

* CreatorBacklash: For a while they stopped playing "If I Had $1000000" in concert, because they got sick of fans throwing Kraft Dinner[[note]]Kraft Macaroni & Cheese to Americans[[/note]] at them during the song. Now they play the song, but they request that you put your Kraft Dinners in the donation boxes.

** Part of the reason Steven Page left the band in 2009 was because he was unhappy with the creative decisions they had been making since ''Everything To Everyone'' (keeping all songwriting in-band, allowing the other members to StepUpToTheMicrophone). His RoleEndingMisdemeanor (see below) was simply the final straw.

* RoleEndingMisdemeanor: Steven Page getting busted for possession of cocaine (right as the band were promoting a children's album) was a major factor, though not the ''only'' one, in his departure.

* BlackSheepHit: "One Week," which has more of a hip-hop influence than their regular folk rock.

to:

* ActorAllusion: In "Odds Are", Ed sings "hit by the A-Train / crashed in an airplane / I wouldn't recommend either one". [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ed_Robertson#Plane_crash Ed was in a well-publicized plane crash in 2008]].
* BlackSheepHit: "One Week," originally intended to simply showcase Ed's freestyle rapping skills. They've recently taken to performing a more stripped-down bluegrass version of the song, which has sounds much more in-place with the rest of a hip-hop influence than their regular folk rock.catalogue.
