In the sequel ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaTearsOfTheKingdom'', Koko is trying to break this habit and catches herself when she falls into it.

*** Like the manaketes Fae, Nowi speaks this way to make her sound cuter. In her case, this habit is prominent in the Japanese version, but toned down in the English version; Nowi's only voice clip of speaking in the third person is her victory quote of "Nowi wins!".

** The hanar consider it downright egotistical to refer to oneself in the first person in front of people they don't know that well. This makes them an ''[[PlanetOfHats entire race]]'' of {{Third Person|Person}} [[StarfishAliens Jellyfish Aliens]]. This one would like to point out that the hanar use more distant terms such as "it" and "this one" rather than our "face name", which we otherwise have no problem giving out to anyone we meet. Though, this one believes that this still fits here, if a little different than those that call themselves by their first name.

* Trucy Wright talks like this in the Japanese version of ''VisualNovel/ApolloJusticeAceAttorney''. It was removed in the American localization though.

** Peri from ''VideoGame/FireEmblemFates'' does this in the original Japanese, to emphasize how she's [[PsychopathicWomanchild incredibly childish and immature]]. [[spoiler:This is because she was traumatised by her mother's murder, which happened when she ''was'' a little girl.]] Since [[LostinTranslation this doesn't translate well in English]], she's given energetic and childish speech patterns in general.

On the shelves are various trophies, all for second place or worse. It's also possible to find a caddy bag full of golf clubs that are described as 'bent', implying Guzma's father beat him with the clubs as a child.

* Ershin of ''VideoGame/BreathOfFireIV'' appears to be a ThirdPersonPerson off-and-on, but it turns out to be a bit more complicated than that: [[spoiler:What people call "Ershin" is actually a sentient vessel for a goddess named Deis, whom it calls "Ershin". When the vessel speaks of the desires of "Ershin", it really means Deis's desires, but everyone just assumes that it it's the vessel's name.]]

* Saya from ''[[VideoGame/DonPachi DoDonPachi SaiDaiOuJou]]''. But when she's being serious, she speaks first-person.

* In the Flash RPG ''Videogame/{{MARDEK}}'', Saul takes this UpToEleven. Not only does he refer to himself in the third person, he ''narrates'' his scenes in PurpleProse.

* ''VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles1'': Most, if not all, of [[RidiculouslyCuteCritter the Nopon]] do this in addition to their YouNoTakeCandle speech pattern, but [[TeamPet Riki]] tends to do it the most. [[RecurringElement This carries over]] [[VideoGame/XenobladeChroniclesX across]] [[VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles2 the series]]; even [[RobotGirl Poppi]], having been built by a Nopon herself, takes on this characteristic.

** While Waluigi sometimes uses first- or second-person words, he tends to refer to himself in third-person.
