** Hey hey now, let's not downplay why she is considered The Scrappy. The fact of the matter is that this is called "Jackie Chan Adventures". Rather than have Jackie Chan kung-fu'ing it up, we get some kid running headfirst into danger, shoehorning her way into most situations, causing many problems on her own. Even children, the demographic she was aimmed at, has gotten pretty annoyed at her obnoxious tendencies. The fact that she is ten doesn't do much to help her situation. If anything, she has much in common with Scrappy Doo herself. That doesn't mean Jackie Chan wasn't the main focus of the show, but there is a reason Jade is considerd the Scrappy.

Courtney, as said above, is still considered a Base Breaker: she's still got a lot of fans, and those who genuinely feel sorry for her with having Duncan break up with her so harshly. Yes, she is annoying and a lot of people hate her, but not as universally as Katie, Sadie, and Sierra (and even her hatedom has cooled after the finale where it shows she does care about Cody).

** Though she also has a substantial fanbase, Terra is occasionally claimed to be the most-hated character in Teen Titans. These claims may or may not be accurate, but Terra does have some key things going against her. First, the petty DieForOurShip factor earned her the ire of "Beastboy X Raven" fans (that Beastboy and Raven were never a canon couple in the show does little to dissuade such shippers), perhaps among the most common but least valid issues. Secondly, the creators had to essentially build her from the ground-up because they were adapting a character who was originally written more as a plot device than anything else (Marv Wolfman said in an interview that he didn't want to write Terra as having any apparent motivation for being a villain, because the whole point of the story was more to utterly shock people with the fact that she was one), creating a host of problems along the way. Many fans of the original comics were enraged that her arc ended with her [[spoiler: hastily having a FaceHeelTurn back towards being a hero at the very end, precisely the sort of happy ending Marv Wolfman made a point of setting up and then evading in the original Judas Contract arc.]] Also, with the changed ending, Terra was rewritten to not be a CompleteMonster, and instead, Slade/Deathstroke was given all the blame for turning her evil, whereas in the original comics he was a more sympathetic character. This innocent rewriting of the character also caused a borderline plothole, in which Terra's "dark secret" she constantly brooded over on her initial appearance was dissatisfyingly revealed as a simple inability to control her powers, rather than being a villain, as it was in the original. (And as was quite possibly what the writers of the TV show originally wrote before changing it.) That half-assed excuse is also used as the reason she falls in with Slade, as opposed to knowing him all along, as in the original, and as though super villains were ever seen as good mentors for how to use one's powers safely.

*** Worth noting, however, is that the original Judas Contract storyline had a substantial Hatedom of its own back in the day, though there were also many who loved it. It also is safe to say the original would not have been practical to adapt for viewers nearly two decades after it was written, because it was written largely as a rebuttal against a similar story written around that time involving XMen Kitty Pryde; something few modern viewers would have been aware of.

* Animaniacs has several candidates: Katie Ka-Boom, Buttons & Mindy, Chicken Boo; YourMilageMayVary, though, because with such a large cast, most of the characters on Animaniacs had a decent fanbase. However, you could list the Hip Hippos as TheScrappy without fear of criticism. The Hip Hippos are a pair of very urbane well... Hippos speaking with a rather obnoxious faux-Barcelona accents (does not help they tend to talk in nearly histrionic tones). Their main shtick is pretty much "Hippos live upperclass life, clueless Zoologist try to trick them to move back to the wild". Only a few shorts that starred them were made before the production team realized how unpopular they were and reglated them to side characters.

*** Fanon (fan-made works/ideas) is NOT the same thing as Canon (Actual events in the show and WordOfGod). Just because a fan decided to add HiddenDepths to a character doesn't mean said character has the same depths in the actual show. May's HiddenDepths are actually canon since they were seen in two different episodes of the series. Marie? She DOESN'T have any.

** And, then there's Nazz. She has few, if any humorous quirks (Unlike most of the cast. Yes, even the Kankers), doesn't really do much (Even in episodes that center around her), and is pretty much nothing more than "eye candy" for most of the main male characters (Except for Rolf (who is too busy with farm-life to have a girlfriend)) and Jimmy (who is much younger)...Which, of course, just angers the fans for "shipping reasons".
*** Her hatedom especially seems to stem from one episode where she's been hired to strike:date babysit Eddy (A character whom it's shown is perfectly capable of taking care of himself). Long story short, she doesn't even bother to tell Eddy she's babysitting him (which leads to the confusion in the first place), threw a party in Eddy's own house, and then got mad at Eddy and yelled at him for "ruining" said party when (somehow) Eddy's bathtub crashed through the ceiling...with Eddy still inside of it...naked. And, yet, somehow, Eddy gets UTTERLY humiliated (and heartbroken) while Nazz doesn't get any commupance at all. After seeing that episode, Understatement a Understatement LOT of fans started to dislike Nazz.

* Long Feng from AvatarTheLastAirbender could be considered one. He keeps an entire city ignorant of the 100 year war going on (including the king), hypnotizes unsuspecting people to follow his bidding, holds Appa captive while denying it, and crosses the MoralEventHorizon by killing a 15 year old boy who broke free of his mind control. Hell, even Ozai is more tolerable in comparison.
