* The blink and you'll miss tt moment showing a father and a couple of kids running out of a house form the zombified mother, and her catching one of the kids and dragging him back.

* While he was a colossal twat for the entire movie, David's death is a little sad due to its sheer gruesomeness, the rest of the group trying in vain to save him and him being just about to apologize to Shaun for his behaviour throughout the movie.

* Shaun's tears [[spoiler: as his mother dies]].
** Even worse than that was the moment where he [[spoiler:breaks down in the Winchester basement. "I couldn't save any of them!"]] Just for a second he's way over the DespairEventHorizon, and he just thinks this caps off all the failures in his life...damn, Simon Pegg ''needs'' an award for that scene.
