The most she does before being shot is snarl viciously and even then, that was only after David demanded Shaun to shoot her, notably turning her head to David instead of Shaun despite her son being the closest. It's almost as if, even in her undead state, Barbara seemed to recognise Shaun and didn't want to harm him... But he had to put her down for everyone else's sake...
