Creator/ShoutFactory licensed ''Geats'' in the west in April 2024 as part of their [=TokuSHOUTsu=] channel and on their website, which can be watched [[https://www.shoutfactorytv.com/series/kamen-rider-geat-series here]].

* SpiritualAntithesis: The series is this in regards to ''Series/KamenRiderRyuki'', in that the focus of the game is purely on fighting monsters and fighting between the Riders is not allowed. Additionally, while the Rider War is a singular conflict stuck in a GroundhogDayLoop from interference and always ends with no real winner, to various degrees of pleasantness (ranging from a clean RetGone to an EverybodyDiesEnding), the Desire Grand Prix has multiple rounds and intentionally alters time and space to clean up damages and keep non-participants out of the loop, not just to accommodate the winner's wish. Also, while the aforementioned alternate EverybodyDiesEnding in ''Ryuki'' is strongly implied to be an unnatural occurrence caused by a loophole in Shiro Kanzaki's designs (to his detriment), it would be entirely possible for the equivalent to occur naturally for countless loops in ''Geats'' simply by losing.

* BrokenAesop: The final arc's moral of "hate the sin, not the sinner," as demonstrated through Keiwa forgiving Daichi for [[spoiler:murdering his sister (and countless others) by infecting them with Parasite Jyamato]] doesn't really work when Daichi was set up to be a HateSink before, spending most of the series crossing the MoralEventHorizon and culminating with an entire sequence devoted to him getting a rightly deserved beatdown. Keiwa's [[spoiler:[[FaceHeelTurn descent into hate]] over his desire to get revenge on Daichi also largely happens due to Keiwa [[IdiotBall ignoring some simple and obvious solutions]] to the problem. The fact that the moral is espoused by Ace is especially hypocritical, considering an arc earlier he killed Chirami and Achimedel, the former for being associated with the DGP and his mother's imprisonment and the latter for committing as similar offences as Daichi, even though Chirami's crimes were much less bad than Daichi's or Achimedel's and it's not even clear if Chirami knew the true nature of the Goddess of Creation]]. There's also the fact that [[spoiler: Daichi's actions are [[DeathIsCheap eventually undone]], making it wholly meaningless whether Keiwa forgives him or not]].

** Also, while it's easy to take it as a LighterAndSofter ''Ryuki'' at first, we find that it needn't be so light after all by the early SacrificialLamb rider death being similarly antithetical: in ''Ryuki'' it was a DirtyCop who used monsters to get rid of people who knew too much. The instant his Driver was broken, ending his contract with his monster, said monster promptly ''ate'' him. He was mourned by no one. In Geats, it's a man who wants to heal his son's illness, lamenting that his son is now ill ''and'' will not have a father. The premise going from 'fight to the death' to 'world-saving game' means instead of people who knowingly signed up for a game where they must kill the other contestants, few making it up to even AntiHero, we have ordinary people who are usually pretty decent learning what 'game over' means the ''hard'' way.
