A BBC TV serial in five parts, broadcast in 1973. This was the third time the BBC had adapted ''Literature/JaneEyre''; they would do so again in [[Series/JaneEyre1983 1983]] and [[Series/JaneEyre2006 2006]]. Directed by Joan Craft, it starred Sorcha Cusack and Creator/MichaelJayston. This is one of the few ''Literature/JaneEyre'' adaptations which follows novel closely.
