Granted, we can't spot them when he's swimming in 'My Name Is Mac Taylor', but makeup is really hard to manage during a water scene, so it's justified.(although in the season 9 opener, they did manage to show his bullet wound scar from the season 8 finale in a shower scene) The scenes where he's shirtless in bed with Peyton, though...
