The two often compete for who's the better bee, which Beedrill comes out on top due to the strength of his Mega Evolution, while Vespiquen bests Beedrill in brains. Off the clock, [[FriendlyRivalry they're good friends]] and often leave honey gifts. A couple Weedle and Combee have been sneaking into the rivals' tents.
** As far as Vespiquen is concerned, she should have BeeBeeGun to her name as she gets three exclusive moves involving using bee swarms. She regards Fritz Von Meyer as an abomination against insect-kind, being an [[DemBones undead]] ''[[ThoseWackyNazis Nazi]]''.
* Vespiquen's temple is a massive honycomb, with stacks of Combee serving as guards. The colony produces an ''enormous'' amount of honey, which they've made a mint by selling it across the House of Food. It helps that Combee's ability is Honey Gather. More than once, she's had to fight off bears trying to steal the sweet stuff, such as Bashmaster and Winnie the Pooh. The latter she's a lot more tolerant of due to his friendly nature.
** Vespiquen was interested in Shuckle, due to his ability to ferment berries and produce juice. Promising a spot in the colony in exchange for upping berry production, the two entered a business venture. You can usually see Vespiquen and Shuckle selling special honey and berries, with Stocking Anarchy as a recurring customer.
** Disdainful towards Gramma Stuffum stealing her honey as part of her food. Stealing is bad enough, but adding it to her disgusting force-food is a personal offense to her.
* As the queen of her hive, Vespiquen is often involved with other royal gods. She has a major rivalry with the regal Diancie for "best royal in Pokemon", which most consider posturing as [[ElementalRockPaperScissors Vespiquen's 4x weak to rock moves]]. At the end of the day, they're still [[FriendlyRivalry friends]] and Vespiquen respects her position.
** Also has a rivalry with Daenerys Targaryen. Most would describe it more as a "pissing match", out of her envy and fear towards the Taragaryen's fire-breathing dragons.
** Some of her Combee were causing trouble [[WesternAnimation/{{AdventureTime}} in the Mushroom Kingdom]], as they were trying to nibble on the inhabitants due to their sugary composition. Vespiquen immediately sought to stop this chaos and scolded the Combee, managing to save the day before [[Pantheon/{{Heroes}} Finn]] and [[Pantheon/{{Mammals}} Jake]] or the Gumball Guardians had to step in. PB was greatful at her help, and after talking to one another agreed to a partnership. The two trade sweets and honey for one other's ventures.
* Vespiquen's ultimate ambition is to become queen of the House of Insects, which immediately put her on a war path against Queen Sectonia. Sectonia tried to protect her claim by saying that she's the InsectQueen goddess, but Vespiquen rebuked this by stating she's not the official InsectQueen of the house and the actual leadership is up for grabs. Thus, Vespiquen initiated a civil war within her house, for dominion over it.
** So far, Vespiquen has managed to get Agitha and Scyther on her side, and Sectonia the likes of Heracross and Durant. Vespiquen also has allied with Volcarona, usually a rival of hers, in order to fight off Sectonia's forces.
** Despite their feuding, Vespiquen and Queen Sectonia [[EnemyMine will unite against a common foe]]; Nicholas Cage. The two also have equal fondness towards Agitha.
* You can summon Combee by slathering a bunch of honey on a tree. However this often brings forth Munchlax, and in the pantheon Snorlax. The two have ended up getting in each other's way, leading to fights between the two. Like Beedrill, Vespiquen is quick to blame the [[StoutStrength fat powerhouse]] Snorlax for the trouble it causes. As has Exdeath, whom was infuriated at the honey slathered on him and Combee swarming on him.
** Will usually visit the House of Plants, getting some valuable nectar from Shaymin, Venusaur and Posion Ivy's flowers in exchange for helping out with pruning and protecting said house. Venusaur and Poison Ivy provide a particularly rich, yet bittersweet flavored-honey.

He has sworn to get back at the House of this, especially Madame Xanadu for casting the deciding vote. He's no fan of Akagi either, since she keeps [[ScrewDestiny screwing destiny]].
** Dollar signs were in his eyes when he learnt of the Master Emerald and [[Pantheon/EarthAndMetal Diancie]], leading to a caper to steal them. While [[Pantheon/HairPreference Knuckles]] was on the can, Crystal Man snuck up on the alter and stole the Master Emerald. Afterwards, he went to capture Diancie, hoping for both her endless supply of gems and to to become the new God of GemstoneAssault. Diancie didn't need to Mega Evolve [[CurbStompBattle to kick his ass]]. Afterwards Knuckles arrived and broke him into pieces. Right now, Junk Man is trying to fix him up.
** [[Webcomic/{{BobAndGeorge}} Bob]] once hired Crystal Man during his tenure as Darth Volcanus. There, Crystal Man would end up facing against alternate, super-intelligent versions of Mega Man and Bass, only to be crushed under a boulder due to his own obsessions with prophecy. To better improve his abilities, he's sought out [[Pantheon/MindGames Tzeentch]]. Since he's not a living organism, time will tell if this amounts to anything.
* In spite of being made of and themed around junk, Junk Man is a staunch environmentalist. He was created to recycle parts, and detests those who simply pollute. He's made numerous(failed) petitions to shut down the House of Toxicity, and the expulsion of both Hexxus and [[Pantheon/{{Commerce}} Mr Burns]].
** Really good friends with his older brother [[Pantheon/DefensivePowers Wood Man]], as they're both environmentalists with [[OrbitingParticleShield orbiting particle shields]]. That being said, Junk Man has to visit his temple since Wood Man can't be around his smelting plant of a temple.
** A MadScientist, Junk Man hangs out [[Pantheon/TechnologicExperts Dr Eggman]] and [[Pantheon/LearningTools Cave Johnson]]. Junk Man's been a great help for the former, as he's helped collect the wreckage of his numerous basements/amusement parks for scrap metal. He also gets along with [[Pantheon/{{Monsters}} Frankenstein's Monster]], due to their similar appearance and how they were made.
* For whatever reason, Crystal Man is vulnerable to ring-based projectiles, which puts him at odds with [[Pantheon/BladedWeapons Lea]]. He also avoids the House of Combat, due to his weakness to kicks. He's scared of [[Pantheon/{{Crime}} Carmen Sandiago]], since she can easily hock him of the crystals that makes up his body.
** Junk Man's body is kept together by electromagnets, which is why he stays the hell away from the House of Fire and Electricity. He's also terrified of [[Pantheon/{{EarthAndMetal}} Magneto]], as he'd be at Erik's complete mercy.
** Both Robot Masters avoid [[Pantheon/MannersOfDeath Harry Dresden]], due to being a WalkingTechbane.
* Crystal Man and Junk Man have a tense relationship with their robotic brother [[Pantheon/{{AntiVillains}} Bass]]. He sees them both as junk robots, and often butts heads with them on missions. As Junk Man was created around the same time as Bass and helped release their master, he's a lot less antagonistic towards him. * Though a usurper, Renly Baratheon is quick to point out [[NotSoDifferent the royalty is full of usurpers]]; his brother took the crown from the Mad King, and 300 years ago the founding king Aegon the Conqueror took it by conquest.
