Taking Hisoka in off the street out of pure generosity, Moritonio trains him to use Nen as well until Hisoka interferes with his attempt to murder Abaki as John Doe. When questioned by Hisoka, Moritonio explains that he has a compulsion to see people surprised that has forced him to be a murderer no matter how he resisted, before nearly killing Hisoka in an intense battle of wits.

* The Chronicler is an ancient, wise dragon that has long prepared for the return of Malefor. Using a variety of visions and magics to test Spyro's power, the Chronicler slowly helps Spyro unlock abilities he will need in the fight against Malefor, even at risk of Spyro's own life. Though offering Spyro the chance to hide in safety and leave the world to Malefor's machinations, the Chronicler offers useful assistance when Spyro chooses to save Cynder from the Well Of Souls, and it is the Chronicler's wisdom that guides Spyro to "ride out the storm" leading to an ultimate victory against his foe.

Having been raised from the dead with the power to become a terrifying EldritchAbomination, Rowena painfully absorbs and kills her husband, taking revenge for her years of abuse and control at his hands before embracing her eternal life as an enforcer of the gods of the sea. * VideoGame/GigaBash (Pipijuras Campaign): [[LongRangeFighter Pipijuras]] is a taunt-happy alien tasked by his race to deliver a beacon to earth that'll teleport it to them, only to end up being captured by the government and brainwashed into a weapon. Breaking free after a fight with Gorogong, it beats him using the artifact he was attracted to and escapes to repair the beacon. Outwitting and outmaneuvering everything the G.T.D.I throw at it, utilizing its long-range attacks and the environment to its advantage, it eventually repairs the beacon and reaches the Giga Core, first by evading a nearby [[SuperMode S-Class Yeti]] by tiring it out and then using the Giga Energy against the Core's guardian. Attaching the beacon to the core, it successfully teleports Earth right to his people, [[TheBadGuyWins leaving it ripe for an invasion]].

* VideoGame/LikeADragonIshin: [[ReasonableAuthorityFigure Kondo Isami]] is the cunning chief of [[UsefulNotes/TheShinsengumi the Shinsengumi]]. Planning have the Emperor of Japan and the country's capital move from Kyo to Edo by setting fire to Kyo so that the Tosa Loyalists have less power, Sakamoto Ryoma hears of his plans and rejects in taking part, after which Kondo baits him into fighting him by implying he may be his adoptive father's murderer. When Ryoma's impostor attempts to spark a civil war by taking advantage of the Satcho Alliance, after hearing a suggestion from the real Ryoma, Kondo writes a letter for the shogun containing his ideas for a Great Restoration, which he eventually receives, agrees to and accepts. When Kondo is fatally attacked by Loyalist Okada Izo in his party's plan to cause a civil war, Kondo initiates his "final move", which is to have his deputy chief Hijikata Toshizo host a meeting in the Shinsengumi, in which Ito Kashitaro, who is clearly a power-hungry traitor, outs himself by accidentally revealing he was aware that Kondo was murdered. After this, it is revealed that Kondo further outplayed Ito by having Todo Heisuke get close to Ito in order to find out what his true motivations are and who he is affiliated with, which ends up being Ryoma's impostor, who plans to meet with Saigo Kichinosuke and Katsura Kogoro, meaning that Ryoma and his allies know of all the players all thanks to Kondo's planning.
* ''Anime/DecaDence'': Kaburagi is a [[ProfessionalKiller Bug Hunter]] who infiltrates the {{MMORPG}} Deca-Dence disguised as a Tanker and maintained his cover there for years as he eliminates bugs by sending them to [[BigBadDuumvirate Hugin and Munin]]. Considering to continue his occupation, Kaburagi decides to go against his superiors after being inspired by [[PluckyGirl Natsume]], helping her and the players beat the game. Sent to the Bugs Correctional Facility for his disobedience, Kaburagi persuades the prisoners to revolt while he infiltrates Deca-Dence again to retrieve his unchipped avatar, before reuniting with Natsume. The two would then sneak into the Gadoll Factory and destroy where Kaburagi reveals the truth to Natsume, with the latter deciding to trust Kaburagi knowing that he truly cares about her, having proven this several times such as when he kept her status as a bug hidden from his superiors and having defeated Hugin when he tried killing Natsume. Entering the system, Kaburagi inspires everyone into helping him defeat Munin and The Omega Gadoll before dying, but not before having Jill backup is data bringing him [[BackFromTheDead back]] to life three years later where he reunites with Natsume.


* ''VideoGame/GrandTheftAutoIVTheBalladOfGayTony'': [[VillainProtagonist Luis Fernando Lopez]] is the personal bodyguard and business partner of "Gay" Tony Price, who uses his collected attitude and craftiness to get him and his friends out of trouble. Working for Mori Kibbutz and Rocco Pelosi to pay off Tony's debts, Luis also works with Yusuf Amir to pull off grand heists, with Luis successfully stealing helicopters and a train cart. Deciding to fully get Tony out of debt, Luis works to obtain two million dollars worth of diamonds, personally going to get it back from Niko Bellic and Johnny Klebitz when they stole it from him, before he manages to trade them back to save Gracie. When betrayed by Ray Bulgarin for the diamonds, Luis [[UndyingLoyalty refuses to betray and kill Gay Tony]], deciding to risk his life to help him and personally destroys Ray's operation [[OneManArmy all on his own]]. Confronting and killing Bulgarin on a private jet, Luis jumps out of the blown up jet and reunites with Tony, with the two mending their friendship and [[EarnYourHappyEnding deciding to restart their successful businesses]].

* ''VideoGame/TakeshisChallenge'': The old man appears before the salaryman at a karaoke bar to hand him a treasure map. Using the salaryman to solve the map's arbitrary riddle in order to reveal the treasure's location, should the old man not be killed, he will secretly follow the salaryman to the treasure, killing him at the end of his adventure so that he can claim the riches for himself.

* ''Fanfic/MadameMalfoyOrAForcedMarriage'': Pansy Parkinson is Draco Malfoy's calculating mistress and [[AdaptationalBadass much more resourceful than in canon]]. When [[MadwomanInTheAttic Madman in the Attic]] Lucius Malfoy deliriously claims she is his bride and Draco orders her to distract him until Draco fetches the mediwizards, Pansy goes from shock and fear to the development of a plan. She allows herself to be married to Lucius and follows him on his Literature/DonQuixote-style quest across Wizarding Britain, playing along with his crazy fantasies and deftly explaining the situation to everyone they meet, sometimes with a mere couple of gestures. Finally, she devises a plan to get Lucius to St. Mungo's and puts it into action with the help of Gringotts goblins. Lucius is subdued but the case is pronounced hopeless. Pansy triumphantly tells Draco that since he never bothered to get his father to a hospital before, her marriage to the latter is valid, but now that Lucius ''is'' officially declared insane, Pansy as the wife receives all his possessions. Leaving Draco with only the manor but no money or valuables, Pansy [[KarmaHoudini leaves the country for her new villa in the Canaries]].

** VideoGame/FreddyFazbearsPizzeriaSimulator song: "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2o5HtgKIhk Labyrinth]]: [[Characters/FiveNightsAtFreddysInstructors Henry Emily]] similar to his original counterpart, was one of the founders of Fazbear Entertainment. Seeking to bring everything to an end once and for all, he designs an inescapable laybrinth disguised as a Freddy Fazbear's establishment, he hires an unsuspecting volunteer to lure in William Afton, his daughter Elizabeth, and the other unrested souls to the establishment. Using the sounds of crying children to keep them occupied, he sets the entire building ablaze, putting an end to every remaining face of Fazbear's, bringing the story to an end once and for all. A WellIntentionedExtremist fully willing to put others in harms way to get the job done, Henry, just like his canon counterpart, proves himself to be one step above every other character within his debut franchise.

He then totally breaks the conspirators before Killing them. Even with Moriarty's seeming death, Moran continues to faithfully serve his mission to rid the world of the corrupt aristocracy and when he discovers Moriarty is alive, happily retires to faithfully serve him once more.
** [[HeroAntagonist Sherlock Holmes]] is a [[BunnyEarsLawyer brilliant but eccentric]] detective acknowledged by William as his equal. He serves as a consulting detective for Scotland Yard, using his brilliant deductive skills and information gathered by the children of Baker Street to solve crimes. Meeting William while cruising Noathic, Sherlock almost immediately figures there was more to the supposed murder committed by a bloodthirsty noble. After being framed for the murder of Duke Drebber, Sherlock quickly clears his name and finds the true culprit while bringing Drebber's depravities to light. When promised the identity of the mysterious Lord of Crime if he kills Drebber's true murderer, Sherlock ultimately decides that he wants to solve the crime himself rather than being given the answer. He starts correctly suspecting William as his target while he continues solving high profile cases. Sherlock learns that the fiancée of his partner Watson, Mary, is being blackmailed by the infamous Charles Milverton, and devises a plan to kill him and free Mary. After officially discovering William as the Lord of Crime, Sherlock prevents him from committing suicide and instead convinces him to seek redemption. He spends years in America working as a Pinkerton detective before returning to help [=MI6=] catch a traitor at William's request. Sherlock joins [=MI6=] alongside William, reuniting with his friends and ready to begin a new life.
** "A Scandal In British Empire" arc: UsefulNotes/MaximilienRobespierre, infamous French revolutionary and architect of the Reign of Terror, was actually a British agent in charge of a social experiment meant to demonstrate what would happen if power was swiftly and violently given to the people. Real name Sherrinford Holmes, he took the identity of Robespierre and become the main strategist of the French Revolution. When his scapegoating of the noble class resulted in people demanding all of them be executed, Robespierre organised the Reign of Terror, killing countless nobles and common people alike, in order to redirect the people's hatred towards himself. He secretly goaded the revolutionary leadership into executing him with seemingly nonsensical talk about traitors in revolutionary mists, eventually becoming the final victim of revolutionary bloodshed.
