** In the first DC special, Bane breaks Franchise/{{Batman}}'s back across three sketches, then at the episode's climax breaks it again, which Batman lampshades.

* WMG/PoisonOakEpilepticTrees: {{Invoked|Trope}}. A good part of the sketches are about portraying the DarkerAndEdgier underside of a PG property[[note]]e.g. [[Film/WillyWonkaAndTheChocolateFactory Willy Wonka]] kidnapped the Oompa Loompas from their jungle home and enslaved them at the factory, and organized the golden ticket contest to frame the winner for murder[[/note]], or doing a PerspectiveFlip and AdaptationalHeroism to reveal that a minor "villainous" character in a franchise was actually a tragic [[TheWoobie woobie]] (e.g. TheUnintelligible alien in the [[Film/ANewHope Mos Eisley cantina]] was ''[[PoorCommunicationKills not]]'' looking for a fight with Luke. His drunk pal just got him into it, and his mutilation by Obi Wan cost him his career as a cartoonist).

* ReincarnatedAsANonHumanoid: ''WesternAnimation/RobotChicken'': One sketch features a man named Doug who gets killed in an archery accident. He gets sent to Purgatory, where he has to spin the [[WheelOfDecisions Wheel of Re-incarnation]] to find out what he will be reincarnated as. Doug spins the wheel and hopes he will land on Keira Knightley's Underwear, which he finds out is a popular choice. Much to his dismay, he ends up getting reincarnated as a [[BlandNameProduct Huggytime]] [[Franchise/CareBears Bear]] named Doug-A-Lot Bear. [[spoiler:At the end of the sketch, it is revealed that Doug merely had a NearDeathExperience.]]

* PimpDuds: The [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIhu5XxXKxA Beanie Baby Pimp]] skit deals with a man who after investing all of his life savings into Beanie Babies (not knowing that they were worthless) soon became a beggar forced to wear a coat made of Beanie Babies. This gets him confused for a pimp, which he leverages into becoming an actual pimp.

* ImmodestOrgasm: One of the Franchise/CareBears, while working for a phone sex line.

* IAmNotSpock: An InUniverse example. In a sketch parodying ''Film/{{Armageddon}}'', Creator/HarrisonFord complains that he doesn't want to go into space because he's just an actor, only for a fat nerd to shout "You go, [[Franchise/StarWars Han Solo]]!" Later inverted in the same sketch, where Creator/MarkHamill says he should have gone up to space because he "destroyed the Death Star", only for the very same nerd to tell him "That was just a movie, dude."

* {{Nerd}}: Aside from the Nerd (obviously), there's also "Gyrorobo" the [=LARPer=] and Go-bots fanboy.

* PositiveDiscrimination: Discussed in the "12 Angry Little People" sketch.

* {{Jerkass}}: The Hyena, labeled as "Nature's Asshole", who laughs at other people's misfortunes, such as a drowning hippo. Taken UpToEleven when he frames a lion for domestic abuse, and then starts hitting on his traumatized wife.

** In one ''Franchise/ScoobyDoo'' sketch, a muscular Daphne rips off the MonsterOfTheWeek's head, pulls it out of his mask, and nonchalantly says that she predicted it would be {{the butler|DidIt}}.

* MockingTheMourner: In "Real Boy, Real Death", after WesternAnimation/{{Pinocchio}} ends up dying of an auto-immune disorder brought on by a peanut allergy, the Blue Fairy callously says at the former's funeral that if Gepetto hadn't wished for Pinocchio to be a real boy, he would have survived as a wooden puppet, before offering half hearted condolences when Jiminy Cricket clears his throat to subtly rebuke her for her lack of decorum.
