''What's Going On?'' is the fourth episode of ''Sense8'''s first season.

At the Garden of Exile, Felix and Wolfgang are waiting for a potential buyer of the diamonds they stole in the first episode. Abraham asks to see them, but not there, as talk of money is unimportant there. It's not so unimportant in Mumbai, however, where Rajan's and Kala's families are discussing the cost of the upcoming wedding. Rajan wants an exchange of rings against Hindu traditions despite it lengthening the ceremony, because it shows commitment.

In Seoul, Sun covers up the bruises from her kickboxing match as she recalls a promise made to her mother to look out for her dad and brother.

Back in Berlin, Abraham examines the diamonds. He says he knows who's going to come looking for them and that moving them will be difficult, but he agrees to move half of them, because it's what his mother would do. Felix is elated at the money the diamonds have gotten them.

Speaking of mothers, Shiro's looking better and expresses sadness that Capheus's entire purpose in life is to take care of her. He brushes her off and heads off to work, seeing that people are rushing to ride his bus after his stint against the gang members in the previous episode. On the route, though, they're stopped by police, who demand to speak with Capheus.

Hernando prepares lunch while Lito talks about his encounter with Joaquin. Lito is too preoccupied discussing it to care too much about Hernando's cooking, which Daniela picks up on and compliments Hernando for it.

Wolfgang feels mud on his socks for a minute, which are actually on Capheus's socks as the guards escort him through the forest to a private car where a man sits inside. He introduces himself in Silas Kabaka, who thanks him for dealing with the gang, who had it out for him. Kabaka proceeds to offer him a job, and assures him that Shiro will get the proper medication. All Capheus has to do is protect one backpack and deliver it to a specific location at a specific time.

Kala goes to pray to Ganesha and finds that the locals are protesting Manendra's desire to outlaw religious practices. Their leader invites her to pray for the destruction of Manendra and Rasal, unaware that she's marrying into that family.

Metzger confronts Nomi about her worsening condition and the supposed arson. Frustrated, Metzger says they'll move up the operation.

Sun stays up to meet with her father, and informs him that the auditors already know about the embezzlement happening within the company, and that they both know who's going to jail for it. She goes to the sex club where Joong-ki is, briefly channels Will, who punches out a guy who tries to kill her, and picks up her brother.

Will, meanwhile, is calling on an old friend on the force (who, incidentally, can speak Korean) to help him meet with Jonas, but no can do. Jonas appears to him, though, and allows him to "visit" him in solitary.

Back in Seoul, Kang-Dae yells at Joong-ki for his embezzlement and the negative way this will impact their business. Joong-ki reacts less than positively when learning he'll soon be arrested.

->'''Joong-ki''': You taught me to bend the rules!
->'''Kang-Dae''': I taught you to bend the rules, not break them!

However, Sun says that her lack of public connection with Kang-Dae can be used to their advantage; if she takes the fall for Joong-ki, the company's reputation can survive the scandal. Later, she recalls her mother's funeral.

Again, Jonas tells Will to save Nomi, who is literally handcuffed to the bed as her surgery begins. As she's rendered unconscious she begs for someone to help her, which Will hears.

Riley's father comes to tell her he's playing with the Symphony again, and invites her to come home. Later, Kala-in-Riley's body wakes up to find Shugs and Bambie going at it in the next room.

Meanwhile, Wolfgang's still living it up at a club where he's pulled onstage for drunken karaoke. People pick out "What's Up" by 4 Non Blondes for him to sing at the same time Riley, in order to avoid Shugs and Bambie, is playing on her iPod while on a walk. This is enough to draw the entire cluster into the song, and they start singing it together in their first group interaction as they reflect over their respective life situations.

Afterwards, Will wakes to find himself in Nomi's body. He breaks out of the handcuffs, allowing Nomi to come to her bearings and get herself out. She's nearly caught before Amanita arrives in a nurse's outfit, claiming Nomi as her patient. Amanita and Nomi make it out of the hospital safely. She flashes to Riley and admits to Amanita that What's Up's been stuck in her head all day.
->'''Amanita''': That's a perfect soundtrack for a lobotomy.
