"I've got a feeling today is gonna be a really good day."
Capheus

Kabaka, a high-ranking gangster, offers Capheus efficient AIDS medicine in exchange of protecting a bag. Kala encounters religious conservatives at Ganesha's temple, who are praying for the death of Rajan's father, a prominent atheist politician. Sun confronts her father and brother, Joong-Ki, about Joong-Ki embezzling money. She volunteers to go to prison in her brother's place to save the company, as her mother's dying wish was to take care of him. Wolfgang and Felix manage to sell some of the diamonds. Will encounters Jonas in a vision; Jonas explains that the phenomenon is called "visiting", which is something all sensates can do once they have made eye contact, although members of a cluster can do it instinctively. Jonas says Will's cluster has eight members and that he needs to save Nomi, one of them. He further explains members of a cluster can "share" each other's knowledge, language and skills. Riley listens to "What's Up?", as Wolfgang sings it karaoke. All eight sing along to the song, which ends with Kala and Wolfgang sharing an intimate moment. Nomi "shares" Will's skills, and with the help of Amanita, escapes the hospital. Nomi "visits" Riley and confused they sing along together.

Tropes present in this episode:

  • Almost Kiss: Wolfgang and Kala during the karaoke scene, before Daya draws her out of it.
Daya: I've never seen you smile like that before! Was it Rajan?
  • Chekhov's Skill: Will's ability to pick handcuff locks from the first episode gets Nomi out of the hospital.
  • Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: Sun has to pick up her wayward brother from a sex club and may have to take the fall for his stealing.
  • The Immodest Orgasm: Riley is woken up in the early hours of the morning by Shugs and Bambi loudly having sex on the other side of the flat.
  • Karaoke Bonding Scene: Happens when the cluster's Psychic Link causes them to all start singing "What's Up" by Four Non Blondes (started by Riley cuing it up on her music player and Wolfgang simultaneously choosing it at karaoke). Not only is the group singalong a joyous moment where the clustermates all interact for the first time, the romantic aspect of it is also used when Wolfgang shares an intimate moment with Kala while singing it.
  • Not So Stoic: The first episode in which we see Sun lose her cool, when she's taking her frustration over the Joong-ki situation out on a punching bag.
  • Singing in the Shower: Sun happens to be in the shower when she joins the "What's Up?" singalong.
  • Title Drop: It is a line in the song "What's Up?" by Four Non-Blondes. The group singalong is the first time all eight sensates in the cluster interact as a group.
