* AbusiveParents: Spoiled Rich is the emotional type of abuser, berating Diamond Tiara when she loses the election.

* AssumedWin: Spoiled Rich had a party ready assuming Diamond Tiara would win the election.

* BackstabbingTheAlphaBitch: Silver Spoon eventually votes for Pip after Diamond Tiara mistreats her.

** While it's clear she has no interest in upholding her promises in her campaign, Diamond Tiara raises a good point about Pipsqueak not having enough funds to keep his own promise of fixing the playground, either. This is proven when the school board shoots down the project because they couldn't afford it.
** While she might have overreacted by forbidding Silver Spoon from even speaking as punishment, if Diamond Tiara really did intend for the statue to be a post-election surprise, it's understandable why she'd be upset at Silver Spoon for spilling the beans on it beforehand.

** The CMC helping Diamond Tiara, in spite of her being nothing but rotten to them prior, lets them ''finally'' earn their cutie marks after over four seasons of trying!
** And, of course, Diamond Tiara, who winds up with a whole field of new friends and allies when she decides to stop being mean and help her classmates.

* SweetAndSourGrapes: The CMC decide to stop worrying about getting their cutie marks in favor of helping others. Guess what they get immediately afterward. Played with in that helping others ends up being what their cutie marks are about.
