This is just character reaction.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: Everyone's resolves are reasonably shaken since they were thrown into a LotusEaterMachine by Fantos, who has all the Cosmic Stones, and almost ''died'' trying to escape it. Carlos and Ramona deserve special mention, since they almost lost '''''their only daughter.'''''

* DarkestHour: Following last episode, the Local Heroes were stuck in deep space. While Queen Xhan saves them, all but Kid, Jo, and Rosa are dejected, and no one knows the whereabouts of Fantos and Erodius, nor a way to defeat them [for real]. The only thing Xhan suggests is to create a new "Flo's Oasis" for any survivors who have escaped Erodius' reign of destruction, now under the impression that Erodius is truly unstoppable, especially when none of them have the Cosmic Stones of Power anymore.

Chew Out Fake Out is when someone only did something bad but is still praised for it, but here the General first points out the bad things his underlings did and then points out the good things they did, so it’s more close to this trope
