After a big TimeSkip from the last sub-arc, the issue begins with Loanzah, Kemal and Milpul Leonius, the children of Leahtrah and Thorin Leonius, now as college-level young adults, with Loanzah having a new boyfriend, a Hoplite cheetah named Valentine, Milpul having a part-time job, and Kemal also having a part-time work as a office worker. All of them are waiting for their parents, which they bring an special guest to their home, a Mousekin scholar named Master Cheddar, which is a descendant of one of the warriors of their clan who helped Liska during the FinalBattle against Rakon and their tribe, the Red Canyon tribe.
And regarding that, that reunion is very special for many reasons, as it will mark the end of the story of Liska Mitsel-eman and the way she and her tribe fought for their survival in those hard times, and the ultimate decision she did. Also, this is the first time someone else besides Leah helps her to tell the story, sharing the narrating duties with her.
Meanwhile, in Liska's era, three years after the events from "The Witch of the Woods" sub-arc, she became the new tribe chief of the Highland tribe, replacing the late Chief Pownetkee, who died due to old age. And the first thing he did as the new tribe chief is to settle the score with his hated enemy, Liska, once for all.
