It makes the whole "quest across the galaxy to stop the Metarex and save the universe" a ''lot'' more frightening. You have to look deep, but this is {{Adult Fear}}, without a doubt.

They may be powerful, smart, and self-confident, but that doesn't make them adults. Tails, possibly the smartest of the bunch, is 8 years old. All the things they go through, including pain and devastating loss, most adults couldn't take.

What's even creepier was that the creepy castle they were in for the whole episode was indeed alive. Granted it WAS just a Metarex, but still...
