* The [[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaCDiGames CD-i games]] have so much of this that they're hard to take seriously. Among the more famous goof-ups are the [[LargeHam hammy voice acting]], [[OffModel the bad animation]] and quite a few silly lines.

** Link's face when he gets a rupoor, as well as the caption. See the PoisonMushroom page image for an example.

*** Even worse: ''it falls over if it doesn't have toes.'' And just wait until it grows its hilariously oversized arms.

* Zelda's SparklingStreamOfTears near the end of SpiritTracks comes off as this to some people. Ironically, she ruined a TearJerker scene with this SparklingStreamOfTears. Fight Tears with Tears, I'd say...
* ''TheLegendOfZeldaSkywardSword'': Ghirahim's little "ThatMakesMeFeelAngry" tirade during your first meeting with him. FURIOUS! OUTRAGED! SICK WITH ANGER!
** There's also the fact that he's so feminine looking that he resembles LadyGaga.

** Also in SkywardSword, Tentalus' introduction after a [[NightmareFuel rather scary moment]] of the Sandship being torn to pieces with you inside, you'd be expecting some sort of BadAss looking kraken, you get... [[http://www.zeldawiki.org/images/a/ab/Tantulus.png this]].
** The moment I saw that, I instantly thought "What the hell? Did EAD use a rejected character from MonstersInc.?

** The game opens with a rather horrifying nightmare of Link's, involving what appears to be an enormous mouth in an eyeless face made of black scales. One of the nightmares ends as the creature appears to devour Zelda. The figure from Link's nightmare is a boss later in the game, The Imprisoned. When it appears, it tears itself out of its seal in the earth, and you see its enormous mouth... stood up on a pair of short, stubby legs with goofy, balloon-like "toes". Suddenly, the creature is no longer the supremely evil being it first seemed to be.

** The moment this troper saw that, he instantly thought "What the hell? Did EAD use a rejected character from MonstersInc.?

* Even ''TheLegendOfZeldaMajorasMask'' is not immune. One day has you protecting the Lon Lon ranch from thieves trying to steal away the cows. If you get there a day late, you find the ranch owner paralyzed with grief, as the thieves took both her cows and her little sister. Moving on its own, but becomes pure Narm when you learn the thieves are aliens.
** When the sister is returned, she is... changed. Whether lobotomized or simply traumatized, her catatonia is very unsettling, and serves as a GutPunch for the player. Later she cries, and appears to have forgotten who you are. For this troper, seeing the results of failure set the aliens out of "narm mode",
** When Link is turned back into a human by the Song of Healing. It's shown as a giant Deku Scrub running away from Link while he ''waves goodbye''.

** The moment this troper saw that, he instantly thought "What the hell? Did EAD use a rejected character from MonstersInc.?

** Also in SkywardSword, Tentalus' introduction after a [[NightmareFuel rather scary moment]] of the Sandship being torn to pieces with you inside, you'd be expecting some sort of BadAss looking kraken, you get... [[http://www.zeldawiki.org/images/a/ab/Tantulus.png this]].

**** Unfortunately, he goes on to ruin his perfectly compelling misdeeds at the end of the game with looping peals of [[EvilLaugh evil laughter]] that may in fact make the player join in the giggles after a few seconds.

** Even ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaTheWindWaker'', despite the humor relying heavily on slapstick anyway, managed to have a short narm-scene in the Final Boss battle, when Ganondorf attacks Tetra. Upon seeing it, Link snaps into a weird, somewhat angry-ish, facial expression for a split second... It's obviously meant to look {{Badass}} because now ItsPersonal, but ended up looking more like Ganondorf just trashed Link's Treehome or something, not like he smacked one of his best friends brutally to the ground.

** Surely this troper can't be the only person who thinks that [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vq8hWJqX2EQ Adult Link's voice]] sounds rather goofy and narmy at times?

**** Unfortunately, he goes on to ruin his villainous behaviour at the end of the game with cripplingly narmy, endless peals of [[EvilLaugh evil laughter]] that may in fact make the viewer join in the giggles after a few seconds.

* ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaOcarinaOfTime'' has the cutscene of Ganon's Castle collapsing into the ground. It looks less like it's breaking down and more like a toy castle that's sinking into the ground, looking nothing like destruction. The castle looks like it's just folding over, and another friend liked it to a penis going flaccid.

** Surely this troper can't be the only person who finds [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vq8hWJqX2EQ Adult Link's voice]] to be rather goofy and comical?

**** Or, as VideoGame/SirRonLionheart translates it, "MOTHERFU-YOU LINK!"

*** [[ZeroPunctuation CURSE YOU . . . FAGBALLS!!!]]

*** [[NintendoCapriSun CURSE YOU . . . CapriSun!!!]]
**** And then there's the fact that NintendoCapriSun actually lost his voice during that part due to trying to shout the lines in his Ganondorf voice. If you've watched his [=LP=], you'll remember how funny that was every time you watch that scene, making it even more Narmy.

**** Or, as SirRonLionheart translates it, "MOTHERFU-YOU LINK!"

* In an effort to punctuate the [[HijackedByGanon totally unsurprising fact]] that he is, [[TheManBehindTheMan in fact]], TheDragon, and not the BigBad: [[spoiler: Zant, the Twilight King of]] ''TheLegendOfZeldaTwilightPrincess'' shifts from his excellent creepiness of all previous scenes to [[spoiler: ''jumping around and clucking like a chicken'' during his boss fight]].

** There was actually quite a bit of this in ''Twilight Princess''. The worst that comes to mind is the scene where one of the spirits is [[spoiler:warning Link that the fused shadows could corrupt him]]; it brings to mind cardboard props in a god-awful 3rd-grade school play. Not to mention the moment during said scene where a Link who appears to be suffering from cataracts lets loose TheScream. Several minor scenes suffer from poor animation or unrealistic movements (such as the bizarre way [[spoiler:Zelda's Sword]] fell, or the utterly silly stumbling animation of the boss in the goron mines.)
