As this describes exactly Hotaru Tomoe, and coincides with Hotaru Tomoe's height of popularity in 2channel, there is likeliness in the theory that ''SailorMoon'' is the Trope namer.

* Maylene from ''Manga/BlackButler'' is clumsy, bespectacled, and blushes easily. She's also a maid. And we love her for it. [[spoiler: She's also a crack sniper, but that's just a bonus!]]

** Finni could be classed as moe as well in this trooper's opinion. What, with having the big green eyes, blond hair that he holds back with clips and an undeniably innocent expression, this trooper fangirl's everytime she sees him!

* Misa Amane from ''Manga/DeathNote'' is a pure moe blob. GirlishPigtails? Check. ElegentGothicLolita? Check. ZettaiRyouiki? Check. Girly pouty attitude? Check. Long light colored hair? Check. {{Yandere}}? Double check.

You've got your standard-issue "[[{{Cloudcuckoolander}} Hetare]]" (Hetalia is a contraction of "Hetare Italy," referring to North Italy, but many other characters also qualify), {{Tsundere}} (Germany, South Italy, and most notably, England), {{Yandere}} / CuteAndPsycho (Russia, (arguably) Latvia, and Belarus), [[AdorablyPrecociousChild Adorably Precocious Children]] (Sealand and Latvia), TheCutie (Taiwan), and various others. Listing all the {{Meganekko}} would take up half the page. England and Italy have been called tsundere and moe, respectively, ''in canon''.
