''Dooly The Little Dinosaur'' is a UsefulNotes/{{South Korea}}n comics character created by Kim Soo-jung. Dooly was later adapted as an animated series in 1987[[note]]By Creator/HanhoHeungUp with assistance from {{Creator/AKOM}}, Shin Dong-heon Productions, and Sam Young Animation[[/note]], with a new series in 2008[[note]] animated by Creator/DongWooAnimation[[/note]]. * ChocolateBaby: Dooly is apparently a ''Ceratosaurus'', but his mother is a brachiosaurus (with a horn on her nose).[[note]]This was due to the fact that when the author drew Dooly's mother for the first time, he designed her based on a dinosaur that fit the motherly image and thus settled on brachiosaurus, momentarily forgetting that Dooly is a ceratosaurus.[[/note]] Subverted in the movie, where his mother looks just like him.

** Dooly's mother fights a ''TyrannosaurusRex'' in the original comic. In the 80s cartoon the ''Tyrannosaurus'' gets exchanged with a mammoth, which gets exchanged with a trio of ''Allosaurus'' in the 2008 remake.

* TyrannosaurusRex: Douner lures a ''T. rex'' to rescue Dooly and Heedong from some primitives.

* {{Jerkass}}: Kildong to Dooly, Douner, and Ddochi especially when he punishes them with the water bucket lifting. The thing is though that they ''do'' tend to bring him a lot of suffering and they're all living in his house and he doesn't want them living there.

* CruelAndUnusualPunishment: Kildong often punishes Dooley, Douner and Ddochi by forcing them to carry filled up buckets of water either on their heads or several at once. This is actually a common form of punishment upon children in South Korea in which they get made by parents to lift something heavy as penalty for bringing home a less than stellar grade at school.
