Run also survives. In the manga, Mine is put into a coma from her battle with Budo but awakens at the very end, Kurome is saved by Wave's intervention during her fight with Akame, Run dies during the aforementioned arc that was cut, and Tatsumi doesn't die but does permanently get turned into a dragon by Incursio. Akame also chooses to immediately disappear after the war to serve as a convenient scapegoat for everything Night Raid did in the anime, where in the manga she continues to serve as an assassin for Najenda to get rid of any remaining corrupt elements that would get in the way of a peaceful rebuilding before choosing to leave to find a cure for the curse her body is under.]]
