More scholarly tropers should note that the prefix of "pornomancer" is being used in its more modern sense of an abbreviation of "pornography" rather than carrying the direct meaning of the root word "pornē" meaning "prostitute".

As an example, in ''AiYoriAoshi'', the male lead is in a committed (if secret) relationship with [[FirstGirlWins the first girl]], but for some reason he attracts girls with a tendency to fall in love with him, appear half-dressed, and/or grope one another.

* In ''Perfume'' the sociopathic protagonist with an inhuman sense of smell makes a perfume [[spoiler: PoweredByAForsakenChild or seven]] that, when applied, causes everyone in a large area to not only love you, but also tear off their clothes and have sex with everyone around. He uses it at a public event with hundreds of people.

* As mentioned, this is extremely common in {{Hentai}}; to the point that it's actually a slight subversion in ''Jiburiru'' when the titular character needs to convince her boyfriend to have sex so she can ''[[DeusSexMachina charge up]]'' her [[MagicFromTechnology magic robot powers]] to fight evil, as opposed to more typical hentai titles like ''LaBlueGirl'', where rape, consensual sex, and [[ThePornomancer pornomancy]] all get mashed together in one big naughty stew.... stop drooling, please.

* Mikael Blomkvist, the male lead from Stieg Larsson's ''Millennium'' series. There are only two female characters featuring in more than a few paragraphs that Blomkvist ''doesn't'' sleep with. One is a married woman with young children and the other is his sister. It never seems to be Blomkvist who seduces them either, it just seems like every female jumps him as soon as she gets a chance. Luckily the movies downplay this.

* What about Daniel in ''{{SG-1}}''? Two episodes after his wife is kidnapped by the Goa'uld, he gets lucky with an alien high-priest's daughter when they accidentally revert to a neanderthal state. After that, he gets jumped by Hathor, Shyla, and Linea, mind-raped by Sarah/Osiris, and is propositioned repeatedly by Vala. Granted, he often doesn't get much of a say in the matter...

* Dr. Stephen Franklin of ''[[BabylonFive Babylon 5]]'', despite being a bit of a [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold pompous blowhard]] and not really putting any serious effort into it, can charm the ladies out of their dresses like nobody's business.

Does sex just happen as naturally as breathing around you? When alone with a woman, is the next shot always of [[DressHitsFloor her dress hitting the floor]]? Did an [[SexyManInstantHarem instant harem]] appear at your house? Perhaps you have a CompellingVoice, and take to its [[PowerPerversionPotential logical conclusion]]. You almost certainly make ''bow-chikka-wow-wow'' music on the soundtrack when you walk down the street. People will look.

* The Marla Mason series by T.A. Pratt actually uses the word "pornomancer" to describe Tantric magicians who derive power from sexual desire and sex-related emotion. There is also a character described as a "lovetalker" with the magical/psychic ability to involuntarily evoke feelings of attraction and affection in everyone around him, making him irresistible.

* A very strange but true example is Benjamin Franklin, who managed to look like...well, an old fat guy...and still be quite the ladies man. During his stay in France, he was often surrounded by women who were usually more attractive, younger, and were preferably intelligent. He had at least one illegitimate child (a son named William), although it's very likely he had more, which was all apparently accepted by his wife (who, by the way, also beared some children for him. His secret? Make the ladies feel like their opinions and intelligence matter.

* Basically the entire concept of [[DNA2]] with the ''MegaPlayboy'' having a Marvel-style mutant power (i.e. it naturally activates at puberty) to become such a perfect man that he can literally seduce ''any female'' (except his VictoriousChildhoodFriend who's immune to his charms) into falling head-over-heels in love with him with just by looking at them (he also gains instant Saiyan-level combat prowess).
