* Although it might've been made only to [[DuelingMovies pre-empt]] the ''LeftBehind'' movie, the movie ''The Omega Code'' offers a rare, somewhat sympathetic portrayal of the Antichrist. Unfortunately, since the Biblical exegesis of ''Left Behind'''s Tim La Haye says that the Antichrist suffers a fatal head wound and is resurrected as a soulless [[DemonicPossession avatar of evil]], he loses all say in the matter after getting shot in the head.\\

* Johan from ''{{Monster}}'' is compared with the anti-christ. Repeatedly. And appears to enjoy the comparison. What makes it arguably worse is that ''Monster'' has no supernatural elements whatsoever: Johan wasn't 'chosen' for anything and is just another normal human being who ''chose'' to act in such a way that people start making the comparison.
** It has supernatural elements. Johan is able to show people a vision of TheEndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt; he has survived two normally-fatal headshots (once as a child), which corresponds to an obscure prophecy of the Antichrist in RealLife (he is supposed to suffer a severe head injury); and the drunk father at the end freaks out because he sees him as a multi-headed Dragon, a Biblical reference to the same. Nt to mention his terifying aility to see through people, including identifying potential serial killers at a glance, and getting them to fawn over him. The story is very realist, but these elements do creep in.

Note that while the actual description of the antichrist in christianity is not very well defined, it doesn't follow this trope very much. Mostly the antichrist is a false prophet who is attempting to undermine the faith of Christians and slowly perverts their teaching. While he appears before the apocalypse, he is more like the chief of propaganda of {{Hell}}, and does not direct, or even participate in the end of the world.

In fact, Jesus Christ himself defines "antichrist" as anyone who believes the Christ is incorrect, with "anti-" being used in the same way as "anti-Semite" or "anti-abortion".

* MarvelComics' ''Son of Satan'', Damon Hellstrom, AKA Damien Hellstorm... yeah, you can imagine. He's an extremely conflicted individual and he's got some serious daddy issues. And you wouldn't believe what a bitch his sister is, don't get this guy started. All in all a force for good in spite of his heritage, he's still painfully aware of the fact that if he doesn't remain constantly vigilant he will raise the infernal horde and bring ruin to the earth. Nice guy, though.
