'''Note:''' This list had huge issues and needed some massive rework. Don't just add tropes that could be spoilers or even that often are spoilers or any random death, ending, plot twist or even adaption trope (there are other lists for that). ONLY list tropes that fulfill ALL FOUR requirements. Also '''check the discussion page''' before adding or removing anything.

whoops, forgot to read the Castlevania example, where it is used as exposition (whatever happened to Julius).

Spoils major parts of an ending if listed with no explanation necessary? Check. Can't happen as a mere setting device? Check (It's an ending trope where the winner loses their memories at the end, not just for any amnesia incidents). Changes tone? Pretty sure it does (in compared to an ending where a hero does not get memory wiped).

Complete Monster is not allowed on character pages (being YMMV)

This can happen in the exposition, from the very first scene on.

* DeathOfTheHypotenuse

Shoot The Shaggy Dog is a trope where the protagonists not only must lose, they must also get killed and everything they did must be made pointless, ineffectual, or worthless. It not only spoils a huge reception-changing turn simply by being listed, Shoot The Shaggy Dog examples cannot qualify with just exposition (since it must be shown in the ending that the heroes's efforts were completely wasted, or else it's not an example). I.e. it fulfills all four criteria.
