* Sensui, the biggest single villain in YuYuHakusho (and the mangaka's favorite) has seven personalities [[hottip:*:because he grew up fighting off demons who wanted to kill him, found out demons weren't AlwaysChaoticEvil (amusingly, he discovered this via an actually pretty despicable specimen who really enjoyed seeing him turn evil), then walked into a recreational demon-torture chamber run by wealthy humans]]. We meet three, and the difference is as impressive as it is subtle. For most of the arc he's operating as Minoru, the talker, who messes with heads a lot and is incidentally the closest to his finally-revealed true personality, Shinobu. In between comes Kazuya, a tough with a gun concealed inside his arm who does "the sick work" and speaks with somewhat yakuza cadences. Yusuke beats up Kazuya and then [[WhatAnIdiot demands to fight the strongest one]]. Can you say [[CurbStompBattle Curb Stomp]]?

Yugi and Bakura are somewhat {{Justified}} due to literal magic being involved, but Marik just has a mundane SplitPersonality, giving him no excuse.

* Razlo and Livio from TrigunMaximum have a system with fairly reasonable in-universe mechanics. When Livio's running things, he has his long hair flipped over on side of his face. When Razlo takes over, he flips it to the other side and we discover that the previously covered side of his head is bald with weird computer-chip tattoos and a wild eye.

* Gollum from Film/LordOfTheRings qualifies - not only does his voice change, but his appearance is also subtly different.

* Yugi from ''YuGiOh'' is one of the most prominent examples; when his "[[SeriousBusiness playing card games]]" personality takes over, his hairstyle changes, his eyes switch from {{Tareme}} to {{Tsurime}}, his voice deepens significantly, and he's drawn to appear taller and more imposing. (The height change only happens in the anime, though.) Happens with Bakura and Marik too. Yugi and Bakura are somewhat {{Justified}} due to literal magic being involved, but Marik just has a mundane SplitPersonality, giving him no excuse.

* ''[[DotHackGUGames .hack//G.U.'s]]'' [[spoiler:Sakubo]] lets you know who is in control by [[spoiler:her[[hottip:*:Although Saku is a girl and Bo is male, the Sakubo character model is female]] hat, which changes which point is up, backpack, which changes color, eyes that switch from {{Tareme}} to {{Tsurime}}, and skirt which flares out or flattens. Her hair also gains a bit of a curve outward as Saku.]] Given that this is an MMORPG, this is hidden under the guise of [[spoiler:Saku and Bo being twin brother and sister.]]

* They comment on this extensively in the miniseries ''{{Jekyll}}''. Jekyll is taller but has narrower shoulders, and Hyde has a different hairline. Of course it's the same actor plus platform shoes and different tailoring/shooting angles, but the effect is subtle and present.

* Therese Voerman from ''VampireTheMasqueradeBloodlines'' is a stiff Ventrue IceQueen in a business suit. Her "twin sister" Jeanette is a slutted-up Malkavian party girl.
