Now, to be fair, this ''can'' be TruthInTelevision, but only to an extent. In fact, this is usually only true for people who are ''seriously'' drunk or high on stimulants, as in these cases your nervous system is too toasted to feel much of the effects of such weapons. In all other situations, though, even special forces-grade training can only provide moderate resistance to less-than-lethal weapons.
