* ''VideoGame/{{Barony}}'' has the Open and Lock spells, [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin which do exactly what you would expect from the names]].
* ''VideoGame/CultistSimulator'' has the [[BizarroElements principle]] of Knock, which opens things. It's a necessary part of any SummoningRitual, but its more mundane uses fall under this trope. As a result, Knock-aligned cultists make skilled burglars and Knock lore is very useful for navigating the doors of [[EldritchLocation the Mansus]].

* ''Manga/JojosBizarreAdventureVentoAureo:'' Bruno Bucciarati's Stand, Sticky Fingers, has an ability similar to this: it lets him attach zippers anywhere he wishes, from inanimate objects, to living people, to even his own body. Among other things, this lets him create portal holes, create holes in floor and walls, non-fatally dissect people (including himself), and, at one point, zipping someone's mouth shut so they won't talk.

It ends up getting on Drive's nerves quite a bit, since it can shut down his Door Gun[[note]][[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin It's shaped like a car door]], and [[UnorthodoxReload needs to be manually opened and shut to reload]]; by opening the "door", it effectively jams the gun[[/note]] and Justice Hunter powers[[note]]Which lets Drive create a cage around his enemies, obviously not very useful against an opponent who can just open the cage[[/note]].

* In ''Manga/HunterXHunter'', Knov has a limited version of this as his power: He can create a door anywhere that will take him to a special room in another dimension of his own creation that cannot be detected or accessed without him acting on it. Consequently, Knov can create doors out of this room to anywhere he wants.

I'm sorry, but how exactly did you manage to stretch 'Power to open doors to other places or planes of existence' into 'this obviously controls atomic bonds and allows them to disintegrate people at will'? That's quite a logical leap with no explanation. This power isn't about controlling bonds, it's a slightly fuzzier and more conceptual version of Thinking Up Portals. I may be missing something, but I can't justify the leap in logic required to arrive at instant disintegration. If you're going to add this line back in, maybe add a better explanation so that it doesn't read as Insane Troll Logic.

This controls the bonds of existence, and is basically the power that joins other powers together. At the atomic level, where things are joined together or broken apart, these bonds do stuff like hold matter in cell walls or form chemical links. FridgeHorror sets in, however, when you realize this means of course that along with opening/closing natural locks and opening/closing dimensional doors, the person could [[DisintegratorRay literally look at you and cause you to break apart into atoms]].

This ability is not innate to them but provided by their 1950s-style hats; one of them temporarily gives his hat to the hero so he can beat them at their own game.
