* The Russian-made expansion ''VideoGame/POSTAL2: Corkscrew [=RuLes=]!'' was originally written and voiced in Russian. An English dub was recorded for the Japanese release which had the entire Russian voice cast dubbing themselves to English.

* In the foreign dubs of ''WesternAnimation/TheLionKingOneAndAHalf'', Mexican voice actor Mario Filio was hired to redub Creator/JimCummings' lines as Ed the hyena in most languages.

* Creator/JeanReno voiced Le Frog in both the English and French version of ''WesternAnimation/FlushedAway''.

* Creator/JodieFoster voices herself in French dubs. It helps that's she's perhaps the American actress who speaks French the best, very fluently and with no trace of American accent.

* Creator/LucyLiu has voice roles in both the English and Mandarin versions of the ''WesternAnimation/KungFuPanda'' series (as Master Viper), ''Animation/MagicWonderland'' (as Princess Ocean), and ''Anime/TheTaleOfThePrincessKaguya'' (as Lady Sagami).

* The {{hentai}} ''Heritage From Father'' received an English dub... supplied by the original Japanese [=VAs=]. While the English does seem to be up to scratch, the actors all have accents thick enough to render their lines nigh-incomprehensible, and they can't seem to find the punctuation marks.

* Cantinflas dubbed himself as Passepartout for the European Spanish dub of ''Film/AroundTheWorldInEightyDays1956''. Oddly enough, he never dubbed himself in Latin American Spanish, despite being Mexican, nor he allowed that film dubbed during his lifetime for some reason, and that region only got a dub of that film until 1993, after Cantinflas died. In the Latin American Spanish dub, he was dubbed by Salvador Najar instead.

** ''Film/NoTimeToDie'': Léa Seydoux dubbed herself in French once again, and so did Dali Benssalah.

* For ''Film/{{Dune|2021}}'', Creator/CharlotteRampling dubbed herself in the European French version, hence the character's noticeable accent in that dub.

* Iñaki Godoy and Taz Skylar portray Monkey D. Luffy and Sanji, respectively, in the English and Spanish (Latin American and European) versions of ''Series/One Piece|2023}}''.

** Creator/RachelHouse (Grandma Tala), Temuera Morrison (Tui), Jemaine Clement (Tamatoa), and Oscar Kightley (fisherman) voice their characters in English and the te reo Māori dub.

* This has become standard practice for Netflix as of recently, nearly every foreign series or film they produce has the original actors dubbing themselves in English whenever possible, for example ''Delhi Crime'' has Shefali Shah dubbing himself as Vartika Chaturvedi.

* Stefanie Joosten not only provided the likeness for Quiet in ''VideoGame/MetalGearSolidV'', she also voices the character in both the Japanese and English versions of the game.

** In ''WesternAnimation/Cars2'', Thomas Kretschmann voiced Professor Zundapp in both the English and German dubs. Likewise, Creator/FrancoNero and Creator/VanessaRedgrave reprised Papa Topolino and the Queen in the Italian dub.
