It didn't help much, as the video garnered over 18000 dislikes (against 3000 likes) in two weeks, and Website/{{Reddit}} r/prequelmemes members flooded the comment section with parodied prequel quotes mocking the channel.

* [[WebVideo/GameGrumps Game Grumps]] often receives a lot of hate from the [[Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog Sonic]] fanbase due to Arin's almost legendarily abysmal skill to at said games. He constantly blames the game for his own mistakes, and had a tendency to intentionally trigger glitches in order to prove his point more.
