** In ''VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening'', there are: Lissa (a sort-of band with button-shaped decs and holes for her GirlishPigtails), Cordelia (small feather-shaped clips), Sumia (big feather-shaped dec and orbs for her PrincessCurls), Olivia (gemmed white and gold headband), Tharja (slim golden tiara), Nowi (slim forehead band), Maribelle (two huge hair ribbons for her MegaTwintails), Noire (slim headband with a feather, apparently a part of the uniform for female Archers), Lucina (golden tiara [[ItWasAGift given to her by any of her prospect mothers]] [[spoiler: which is stolen in the fourth CD drama and prompts the other Children to go search for it]]). A Build 2!Female Avatar can be given two small hair ribbons, while a Build 1!Female Avatar can wear a slim forehead band... which can also be worn by [[RareMaleExample a Build 2 Male Avatar.]]

* Guinevere from ''Series/{{Merlin}}'' often wears [[FlowerInHerHair flowers in her hair]].

* Blog/UnshavedMouse: His wive looks just like the titular character, except for her bow. His brother is similar, except he wears an eye patch.

* Coco Bandicoot from the ''Franchise/CrashBandicoot'' series wears a ribbon or a flower in her hair depending on the game.

* The elaborate Art Nouveau-inspired uniforms of ''VisualNovel/Sweetenchantments'' include golden hair decorations for all of the women [[LongHairedPrettyBoy and Zain]]. Runa and Zain each wear a hair-clip behind an ear, and Zain also wears gold and purple beads in his hair; Emeril has a puffy brown and gold bow to go with her GirlishPigtails; Liora, the boss, wears a gold circlet with a [[FlowerInHerHair pale purple flower]] over one ear. When the heroine starts working in the cafe, she gets a hair clip with a gold rose design to go with her uniform.

** Ribbons and bows were mainly popular with younger women for daytime; feathers and plumes of all sorts were so popular as evening accessories, especially during [[LaBelleEpoque the 1890's and 1900's]], as to be almost mandatory.

* ''Manga/HimechanNoRibon'' is about... well, okay, but she does get a ribbon, and she does look cuter while wearing it.

*** ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyIV'' protagonist Cecil's design in ''VideoGame/DissidiaFinalFantasy'', true to his Amano origins, has a headband and beads in his [[LongairedPrettyBoy long, pretty hair]]. Not only Cecil, but almost every character has some sort of bead in his/her hair, even if they weren't there in [[Creator/YoshitakaAmano Amano's]] original designs. And if by any chance they don't wear them in their head the beads will be in the character's outfit, this applies to [[TetsuyaNomura Nomura's]] designs such as Tidus or Sephiroth

* Miranda Sanchez from ''Series/LizzieMaguire'' is known for this. There's even a montage of her wearing various decs in one of the Zoog Disney FourthWallMailslot {{Ad Bumper}}s (said bumper is not on Website/YouTube as of this writing).

** Mokou and Rumia have paper talismans ([[{{Onmyodo}} Ofuda]]) tied in their hair. Justified in Mokou's case because it seems these talismans stop her hair from burning because of her own [[PlayingWithFire fire spells]].

* Miaka of ''Manga/FushigiYuugi'' always has hair decs in any appearance with her {{Odango}}, but she usually uses pink ribbons, which play an important role in the manga.

*** While Marth's girlfriend Caeda does ''not'' use hair decs, many of the other women in the games do: Cecil (white ribbon), Maillesia (double orbs), Maria (yellow band), Minerva (gemmed band), the Pegasus sisters (headbands), Linde (headband and ponytail band), Nyna (gemmed headbands), etc.

*** ''Fates'' is also the rare game where several ''[[RareMaleExample men]]'' wear hair ornaments: the Male Avatar (can optionally be given a slim forehea band), Xander (Roman Empire-like headband), Leo (black headband), Hayato (Diviner headband [[spoiler: not unlike his daughter Rhajat's]]), Azama (beige and black headband similar to those worn by ''yamabushi'' priests), Kaze (slim black forehead band), Odin (another forehead band, but red and with a white gem), Takumi (two red bands keeping his RapunzelHair in check), Izana (small golden dec), Subaki (black and gold pin), Asugi and Shiro (black headbands), Hinata (red pin), etc.
