** In another Picture Drama, Lelouch has to crossdress ''yet again'', but is offset by the {{Fanservice}} of C.C and Kallen in slinky BellyDancer outfits.

* ''Series/{{Revenge}}'', a modern day reimagining of ''Literature/TheCountOfMonteCristo'', gender flips the protagonist Edmond Dantes to be Emily Thorne. Rather than having been framed herself like Edmond, Emily is the daughter of a man who was framed and falsely imprisoned.

The play the students put on for the culture festival is initially about a cold-blooded princess (Komi) who falls in love with a delivery boy (Tadano). When Komi goes to comfort a distraught Manbagi and doesn't manage to get back in time for the next showing, the students change the play to one about a cold-blooded prince (Katai) who falls in love with a kitchen maid (a cross-dressing Tadano).
** also according to [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6zvqdcZrwE this video interview]] the author says komi was [[WhatCouldHaveBeen originally conceived as a guy]], but he/she changed it because his/her editor said to him/her that the idea could work better if the main character was a girl.
