They then bedded down for the night in the safer and dryer downstairs rooms. During the night there was an almighty crash that led them to believe they were under attack. They discovered the upstairs floor supporting the piano had given way and the instrument had fallen through the ceiling, narrowly missing the guy who'd been playing it earlier.
