* This is what Keshins/Fighting Spirits are in Inazuma Eleven GO, they appear from the spiritual energy of their user once it is mastered, it also severely drains the stamina of their user after usage. While it is rare for normal players to have one, it is the opposite for [=SEEDs=]. Keshins/Fighting Spirits can be fused, such as [[spoiler: Shuu/Tezcat and Hakuryuu/Bailong creating Sei Kishi Arthur/Holy Sword Paladin Arthur]]

* Manga/OnePiece
** There's Haki, which allows them to predict incoming attacks (noted as Kenbushoku Haki, and was previously used in the Skypeia Arc as "Mantra") and enhance one's Attack and/or Defense as well as granting the ability to touch people with Logia powers (Busoshoku Haki). While people in later arcs are skilled in either one or the other, and it's entirely feasible to use both but its a rare sight, there is a third, final, and rarest form of Haki: Haoshoku Haki, which, when used in it's simplest form, can cause hundreds of people to pass out at the same time. Haoshoku Haki can only appear in 1 out of several million people, and the canon users of Haoshoku Haki (sans Luffy) have royal position or epithet or attained some highly respected status.
** Also, Zoro's Kyutoryu Asura, seeing as its described as an extension of his spirit. Although its unknown whether its related to Haki or not.

Added DiffLines:

* Possibly the first series to take after JoJo may have been an obscure, children's anime called Wrestler Gundan Galaxy-hen. The main characters could project psychic "Binds" which looked like swirling energy in the shape of humanoids or animals that held a target in place for their finishing move. Broadcasting less than 6 months after Stardust Crusaders debuted, it was either a massive coincidence or one shameless rush.
