Kidnapping [[ChainedToARock and sacrificing]] [[LivingMacGuffin Sal]] so that the Emperor can [[AGodIAm become a god]] of war? Clearly acts of good. After all, she used ThePowerOfLove during all of them.

** ''[[VideoGame/FireEmblemTellius Fire Emblem: Path Of Radiance]]'' has General Petrine, a {{Pyromaniac}}al LadyOfWar who is utterly devoted to [[AxeCrazy Mad]] [[TheCaligula King]] [[BigBad Ashnard]]. In theory she is CoDragons along with General Bryce and The Black Knight, but she is clearly subordinate to both of them, making her this instead.

* Rouge the Bat in the ''Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog'' series. She's a spy and thief among villains that are usually mad scientists, grizzled anti heroes or member of a robot army. Openly flirts with the heroes, and makes her way through the ranks of whatever her organization, even being TheLeader of Team Dark in Sonic Heroes. Even in her original appearance she was the first member of Team Dark to HeelFaceTurn against Eggman when it was revealed she was actually a mole sent by the government and began to develop feelings for Knuckles on the Good Guys side.

Just as The Chick may be part of a PowerTrio with TheLeader and TheLancer, the Dark Chick tends to promote to [[CoDragons Co-Dragon]], or just become TheDragon of her team. If the Dark Chick is [[DarkMistress somehow]] [[DaddysLittleVillain related]] to the main villain, this chance rises to a near certainty. As do the odds of her [[HighHeelFaceTurn leaving her boss]], if his actions repulse her enough, [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness for]] [[MistreatmentInducedBetrayal whatever]] [[NotWhatISignedOnFor reason]], to hook up with TheHero or TheLancer.

Just as The Chick may be part of a PowerTrio with TheLeader and TheLancer, the Dark Chick tends to promote to [[CoDragons Co-Dragon]], or just become TheDragon of her team. Having this character prominent adds a layer of the InterplayOfSexAndViolence particularly [[DatingCatwoman with male heroes]] in action series.

** Garma Zabi in ''Anime/MobileSuitGundam'' is about as close as you get to an evil version of TheHeart and is the most sympathetic of his team, however his sister Kycilia plays the Dark Chick role straighter as far as usurping TheDragon, manipulating people, and generally being a pain to deal with, combining with some traits of the EvilGenius.

** [[PaperMaster Konan]] is this for Akatsuki: almost everyone else in the organization is based on offensive power (except Zetsu), her role is to be more on support and reconnaissance (though she eventually gets a chance to demonstrate her ''[[NotSoHarmlessVillain substantial]]'' fighting skills. Konan is also TheDragon to Pain who is the figurehead BigBad. She's the most normal of the Akatsuki, not having any particular appearance quirks, fixations, or sociopathic tendencies. She's driven out of a genuine belief that they'll make the world better, and out of the memory for her lost friend.

* Julia Nakahamou from Fanfic/ShinraHighSOLDIER is a rare protagonist example. She demonstrates a distinct lack of empathy for almost everyone around her, is a ruthless and uncaring manager and shows a disturbing inclination towards torture and murder.

** Magda in ''Film/Octopussy''.

* ''Film/TheHungerGames: Glimmer in the Career Tributes' group.

** it is actually Parker who better fits the Dark Chick's personality and role within the group of AntiVillain/AntiHero [[VillainProtagonist Protagonists.]] The team all have, by season 2 at least, the desire help people for its own sake. But most of the crew are very sane and, although they enjoy the thrill of the chase, they really, ''really'' enjoy spending their earnings and living the high life. They also tend to be able to lead relatively normal lives aside from the addiction to con-jobs. Parker, meanwhile, is the loon who enjoys having and ''fondling'' money itself, rather than spending any of it. She enjoys the job itself more than any vacation and she has no understanding of any kind of life outside of committing crimes for their own sake.

* ''Series/{{Revenge}}'': If you go by AlternativeCharacterInterpretation, Amanda Clarke (real Emily Thorne) is this to Emily Thorne/Amanda Clarke.

* In ''VideoGame/FarCry5'', Faith Seed is one of the main villains. She is manipulative and has an Angel appearance, though she seduces people with a [[MindRape non-sexual way]].

* In ''Manga/BlackCat'' Echidna Parass, [[VillainTeleportation Villainous Teleporter]] and LoveMartyr to the BigBad serves this role among the [[FiveBadBand leadership]] of The Apostles Of The Stars. The only girl among the leaders, and present due to her crush on Creed, she's definitely the odd one out.

* In ''Anime/KillLaKill'', Nonon Jakuzure is pretty obviously this in the FiveBadBand that rules Honnouji Academy. She's a tiny [[RoseHairedSweetie pink-haired]] girl with cutesey mannerisms -- and [[BitchInSheepsClothing a mean streak a mile wide]].

* Phondari in ''ComicBook/PathfinderWorldscape'' serves this role in Shareen's court, even though the BigBad and TheDragon are female themselves, Phondari is the most genuinely friendly of the FiveBadBand and ends up [[spoiler:the sole survivor of the group]].

* Diana Ladris from ''Literature/{{Gone}}'' plays this part in Caine's FiveBadBand

* Koman, a sociopathic telepath who joined up ForTheEvulz in a FiveBadBand where everyone else has an objective, is the Dark Chick in Creator/DavidEddings' ''Literature/TheRedemptionOfAlthalus''. In ''Literature/TheElenium'' [[TheVamp Princess Arissa]] plays this role to the Five Bad Band headed up by [[BigBadWannabe Annias]] and [[DragonInChief Martel]].

* In ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyVI'', ''[[OmnicidalManiac Kefka]]'' was the Dark Chick of the FiveBadBand, despite the presence of Celes, the female general. [[spoiler: In a twist, he also [[TheStarscream becomes the final]] BigBad [[TheStarscream by killing another general and then the Emperor.]]]]
** He takes a similar role in ''VideoGame/DissidiaFinalFantasy''. In a cast of villains mainly consisting of cold schemers and {{Tin Tyrant}}s, he stands out as a giggling, unserious, destruction-loving maniac that none of the villains seem to take seriously. Which is a ''big'' mistake; at one point he [[spoiler:pulls a YouHaveFailedMe on an ''EldritchAbomination'']].
*** Another Dark Chick in ''Dissidia Final Fantasy'' is [[VideoGame/FinalFantasyIX Kuja]], whose flamboyance and comparative inexperience tend to separate him from the rest of the Chaos side. It does bear mentioning that, unlike most of the other villains in the series, both Kefka and Kuja [[spoiler:actually succeed in inflicting lasting planetary-scale destruction in their original games]].

* Valara from ''VideoGame/BatenKaitos Origins'', who is easily the most ruthless of the [[FiveBadBand Machina Vanguard]].
* Another male example: Yun from ''[[VideoGame/DarkForcesSaga Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight]]''. [[spoiler:If you're on the Light Side path, he [[RedemptionEqualsDeath sacrifices himself]] to give you a fair chance against his mistress, Sariss (who's more of an Evil Genius herself).]]

** And just like the rest of FiveBadBand position, Hazama/Terumi fits here the same way [[VideoGame/FinalFantasyVI Kefka]] fit his former position: In a place where nearly everyone else is all about keeping Order, he's a chaos-loving, blatantly AxCrazy psychopath.

* Harry Robinson in ''Film/TheLadykillers'' is the least masculine of the band of criminals.
