The third timeline begins [[spoiler:after Sissel, Missile from the second timeline, Yomiel, and Detective Jowd go back 10 years again like the original Missile did and SetRightWhatOnceWentWrong by saving Yomiel's life and thus preventing his StartOfDarkness]], undoing the first two timelines [[spoiler:[[RetGone and the first Missile's existence]]]] in the process.

* ''TheLegendOfZelda'' has one, caused by Link's time traveling in ''OcarinaOfTime.'' In one continuity, Link defeats Ganon and goes back in time. Then, Ganon rises again, causing Hyrule to be flooded. ''TheWindWaker'' and the [[PhantomHourglass 3D]] [[SpiritTracks handheld]] games follow this timeline. In the other continuity, Ganon never takes over Hyrule in the first place, and is banished to the Twilight Realm because Link warned the king about his treachery. ''MajorasMask'' and ''TwilightPrincess'' take place in this timeline. The other games don't have any confirmed placement.
