''Invaders of the Rokujouma!?'' (''Rokujyouma no Shinryakusha!?'', lit. "Invaders of the Six-Tatami Mat Room!?") is a {{light novel|s}} series written by Takehaya and illustrated by Poco, (see [[Recap/InvadersOfTheRokujyouma the recap page]] for more details on the story arcs in the novels). It has been localized into English by Creator/JNovelClub, and can be purchased online from [[https://global.bookwalker.jp/ Bookwalker]]. ''Rokujyouma no Shinryakusha!?'' (lit. * DoItYourselfThemeTune: The anime's opening "Koukan Win-Win Mujouken" is sung by the four main girls' [=VAs=] who's group is aptly named "Heart Invader". The soundtrack also has a version sung by the [=VAs=] of Ruth, Harumi and Shizuka.

** We still have not been told what Shizuka is, but she can see/hit Sanae, has some pretty nifty martial arts moves, and her fists glow when she gets serious, so Ki user seems likely.
*** Turns out that [[spoiler: Alunaya(a Dragon) has chosen her as his host so that he could observe and aid Koutarou if he ever decided to call on him]]

** It’s revealed by Clan that Forthorthian and Earthlings have the exact same genetic code and they’re pretty much the same species, making it possible for breeding. The People of the Earth are the examples of Earthlings with Forthorthian blood.

** In episode 11, Kiriha goes to the amusement park with Koutarou to relive moments from ten years earlier when she went there with a boy she fell in love with. Though she doesn't remember his face or even his name, it's strongly implied that the boy was a younger Koutarou, since she mentions he would be about her age right now.[[spoiler:It's actually Koutarou.]]
*** [[spoiler:What she says is that "he was the same age back then as they are right now". The reason is Koutarou travelled back in time for about five minutes (present time), which took him for several months (Koutarou time) to before the origin of the universe, Forthorthe 2,000 years ago (becoming the Blue Knight), 20 years ago (meeting Theia's mom) and 10 years ago (becoming Kiriha's first love). He doesn't remember the first destination, it's under the misconception that he has stolen someone else's role in the case of the Blue Knight (though it’s revealed [[SpannerInTheWorks HE is the Blue Knight]]), and he wasn't completely sure if Kiriha was Kii-chan (he realizes this first when he gave the card and she scribbled it the same scribbles as Kiriha's card, though he is interrupted when he was about to ask and forgot).]]

** A variation of this occurs in episode 6, when Yurika was originally supposed to play the back half of a horse. She later gets "upgraded" into Villain A instead, though interestingly in episode 7 she's still wearing the horse costume. In the Novels she actually asks to be upgraded to Tree.
*** [[spoiler:That's because her horse-rear acting was so good they gave her both roles. A Yurika lookalike (more in spirit than in face) from the original Silver princess story HAD been posing as the Silver Princess's horse (unicorn) to spy on her (this could be related, as she was found because the Princess's entourage was composed of people that reminded Koutarou of his acquintances and the one who reminded him of yurika was the horse).]]

** Happens to Kenji, Koutarou's male friend in episode 3. During the beginning of the race, a bunch of students trip and pile up on each other. Koutarou then takes Harumi and steps over them in order to get through. Some of them later catch up to him, trying to figure out who was the guy that stepped on them earlier, with the only reference that he was with a girl. Koutarou is understandably worried, but then they assume it's Kenji because Shizuka is with him, and proceed to rush towards him before they all fall off the balance beam and hit a shock mine laid by Theiamillis. Koutarou escaped in this instance because the girl he was with, Harumi, wasn't even at the course yet with him.
*** That said, Kenji, along with the three guys, all chase after Koutarou after the race is over, and they find out he was the one who stepped on them. After the end credits, both he and Theiamillis (who was beaten up by Shizuka for her mines in the obstacle course) are pixellated blobs slowly crawling towards the other girls, and cause [[ButtMonkey Yurika]] to also start turning dark like them.

** Theiamillis was prepared to destroy Earth for the insults she received from Koutarou. Fortunately Ruth tells her if she destroys the planet she'll have failed her mission to have the sentient life at a chosen designation worship her. Which just also happened to coincidentally be Koutarou's room.
*** That said, she does end up using her main ship's weaponry against Maki in episode 9, mostly to punish the latter for hurting Koutarou. She first has her ship fire some BeamSpam shots, then once Maki's magical shield is broken through, she readies a WaveMotionGun shot. Fortunately Shizuka shows up and simply punches Maki for wrecking her apartment.

*** If one follows the card games scenes (including the opening), they will see that Yurika has a decidedly transparent poker face, all but making her a pushover when it comes to Old Maid. When she is exhausted, however, she is unable to muster enough energy to react to the other players' actions, making her unreadable.

** The use of Clan's [[spoiler: second space-time weapon exiled the Coup d'etat leadership to Earth at least 2,000 years in the past (some text suggests much longer), and the rebelling magicians to Folsaria 700 years in the past, creating both the People of the Earth and the Magical Kingdom]] (conclusion of Volume 8.5 with final recognition of the consequences in Volume 19; the time frames are established in Volume 36, but [[spoiler: earlier discussion suggests that the ruins believed to be the exiled alchemist's settlement on Earth could be as much as 10,000 years old]]).
** Returning to [[spoiler: Forthorthe twenty years before the Invasion, Koutarou and Clan met Elle, aka Empress-to-be Elfaria and Theia's mother. Clan gave her the plans and data from Koutarou's battle suit, and Koutarou gave her the idea for Mecha, leading to the construction both of the Blue Knight's legendary armor and Theia's starship. Koutarou and Clan also saved Elle from assassins send by the forming modern Coup d'etat forces. By unintentionally giving her advance knowledge that she would have a daughter, they may also have inspired her to use her fiance's frozen sperm after his death to birth Theia]] (last story in Volume 14).
** Arriving on [[spoiler: Earth 10 years before the Invasion, Koutarou rescues Kii-chan from assassination by Maya and the Rebel faction, which possibly also prevents Maya making a second attempt to capture and kill Sanae as well]] (Volume 10).
** Last, but far from least, the [[spoiler: ''posterior terminus'' of the StableTimeLoop]]. Elfaria raises Theia as an extreme Blue Knight fangirl, and [[spoiler: hacks her [[MagicalGirlQueenlinessTest test]] to send her to Earth]]. When Theia's Blue Knight play is selected by the Drama Club, and Koutarou is chosen to play the Blue Knight, as part of her "Invader" campaign to capture his loyalty, she loans him her spaceship's control suit - "modeled" on the Blue Knight's armor - and trains him in the ways of Forthorthian knighthood. This prepares Koutarou to [[spoiler: defend her from Clan's attack, and when he stops the first time-space bomb before it fully detonates, sends him and Clan out of the time stream, initiating the StableTimeLoop, which apparently closes when Koutarou and Clan return to]] finish the second Blue Knight Play (Volumes 4 and 7; anime Episodes 6 and 7; Episode 12 ends with the start of the 2nd Blue Knight play).

* RedHerring: The Sun Rangers are warned that the Earth Empire is invading at the start of episode 10. However, they don't see anything out of the ordinary when they do go out. And at the end of episode 10, they're warned of an attack again, this time with a much stronger urgency than the last time, indicating an Earth Empire attack on the town was imminent. [[spoiler:Then a large submarine is shown, with several idols similarly shaped to Kiriha's helpers sitting in some of the chairs in the command deck, with an Earth Empire citizen captaining the sub.]]

** Of course, [[spoiler: this Control Suit, augmented with some of Kiriha's spiritual energy technology, becomes the historical Blue Knight's actual armor when Koutarou and Clan are stuck in Ancient Forthorthe. [[ClosedTimeLoop Subsequent, for values of subsequent,]] events show that Empress Elfaria's reconstruction was greatly aided by receiving the technical speifications from Clan during their stop in 20-year-ago Forthorthe on the slow road home.]].

* PsychicLink: Sanae can do this by touching someone and uses it to taste food, usually through Koutarou.[[spoiler: Koutaru and Maki form one when he rescues her during the ski trip]]

** While not emphasized in the anime, Volume 4 reveals that when Koutarou takes over the role of the Blue Knight, Theia lends him the Control Suit of the ''Blue Knight'', which is patterned on her mother's reconstruction of the Blue Knight's historical armor, and which has many functions expected of a space suit. When the stunt sword is destroyed fighting Clan, Theia also loans him her personal sword Saguratin.
** Of course, [[spoiler: this Control Suit also becomes the historical Blue Knight's actual armor when Koutarou and Clan are stuck in Ancient Forthorthe]].

* AmbiguouslyAbsentParent: The story starts when Koutarou's father is transferred out of town; his mother has been dead for ten years. So has Kiriha's, though she consults her father frequently. Sanae's ghost is stuck in the apartment waiting for her parents to return; [[spoiler: she reunites with them in Volume 11]]. Shizuki's parents have also been dead for several years. Maki's parents [[spoiler: may have sold her into slavery, or may have died; nobody knows for sure at this point]]. Theia, Ruth, and Clan's parents are on Forthorthe, though Theia's mother comes to Earth in Volume 13 and Ruth's father meets them in Forthorthe. [[spoiler: Theia, however, was a product of artificial insemination after her father was killed shortly before marrying her mother.]] [[spoiler: Other than the fact that she was born in Japan,]] Yurika's parents and family situation are never mentioned. Only Harumi is depicted as having a normal home life, and her parents have never appeared in story.

** Sanae [[spoiler: is not a proper ghost, but a residue of the spiritual energy stolen from her body when Maya tried to sacrifice her for her spiritual energy (sometime before the events of Volume 10; this is why her mother Kanae is working with Rainbow Nana). This separation becomes necessary, however, for her to learn how to properly control her God tier spiritual energy.]]

** The most meta occurrence: Koutarou and Clan are [[spoiler: thrown out of time completely. The awakening Goddess of Dawn saves them, [[MayflyDecemberRomance falls for Koutarou]], sends them forward to the ''prior terminus'' of the stable time loop in Ancient Forthorthe to "wait," ''then'' creates the entire '''[[TheMultiverse multiverse]]''' -- and the nine Invaders -- ''around'' Koutarou and Clan, all to allow Koutarou an infinite number of chances to [[DivineDate accept her on her own terms]]]] (start of Volume 7.5 with information from Volume 29).
