The book is a direct sequel to LightNovel/GiftFromThePrincessWhoBroughtSleep and is divided into two parts; the first concerns Lemy and his life as he enters into Père Noël, while the second concerns the Duel of Merrigod Plateau teased in other installments of the franchise. The story was made intentionally by mothy to be a game-changer for the entirety of the Chronicles and as such it includes several spoilers for the rest of the franchise as a result.

''Fifth Pierrot'' is the fourth light novel in the ''Deadly Sins of Evil'' series, as part of the Franchise/EvilliousChronicles. It was written by Music/{{mothy}}, illustrated by Ichika, and released in 2015.

An expanded look at the story in a song by the same name, it’s a story of action and intrigue surrounding the criminal organization Père Noël in Lucifenia. In particular, it focuses on one of its members—Lemy Abelard, who lives happily with his mother Julia Abelard and speaks with a voice coming from his wine glass named Ney[[note]]Gretel, using her most recent incarnation’s name[[/note]]. A series of incidents leads him to take up the titular codename of Fifth Pierrot in work for his mother, though it’s a dangerous job with many forces at work that he couldn't possibly understand.

* SoleSurvivor: [[spoiler:Banica Conchita is the only participant of the Duel of Merrigod Plateau who gets out of it unscathed--Gumillia manages to shoot Lemy dead, Irina, Levia and Eve have their souls fused into a single entity and the explosion that resulted from said fusion blasts Gumillia and Behemo into the Hellish Yard]].

* WhamEpisode: Deliberately designed to be one according to WordOfGod, no less; the reveals of the novel completely change the audience's viewpoint about each of the main characters and the Demons of Sin by the second half.

* ADayInTheLimelight: Irina, who normally keeps primarily to the background as the plot unfolds, takes a much more direct position as Julia and gives narration at the end of every chapter.

* ArtificialHuman: All the known Ghoul Children of Levianta, which the book reveals were created [[spoiler:by Seth Twiright as a means of spreading HER—as such, this included Irina.]]

* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: Gumillia, who never once cried and is noted for her stoic nature, starts to finally cry after [[spoiler:admitting she was only meant to follow Elluka around to seal her away if she ever regained her memories as Levia.]]

* ReasonYouSuckSpeech: Elluka gives one to Lemy after he's shot in the first half, comparing him to Allen in that even though Allen also did bad things for the person he loved he didn't ever enjoy killing like Lemy did.

* SpotTheThread: Although he had his face changed, "Bruno Marlon" is outed as being Kaidor Blankenheim because [[spoiler:he has a dragon tattoo on his back and isn't able to change that.]]

* VillainousCrossdresser: [[spoiler: Behemo. Only not really.]]

* JackTheRipper: Lemy's killings of prostitutes in Rolled pays homage to the Jack the Ripper killings, down to his nickname of "Lemy the Ripper."

** Also Kaidor Blankenheim, although initially acting nothing like Bruno Marlon, appears to have taken his new identity to heart (albeit still being evil): he does a lot of what he does for the success of the Freesis Foundation, had a genuine friendship with Shaw, and distances himself from his own son's fate because [[ThatManIsDead he's Bruno Marlon]] now.
