In 2008, Website/SomethingAwful forum member LetsPlay/{{pokecapn}} decided to make a LetsPlay of the 2006 ''VideoGame/{{Sonic the Hedgehog|2006}}'' game for the UsefulNotes/PlayStation3. For this task, he enlisted the help of fellow goons LetsPlay/KungFuJesus, [=IlluminatusVespucci=], LetsPlay/{{medibot}}, and [=NoTimeForSocks=] (who left early on). Somewhat atypically for a Let's Play, they decided to do the whole game in one sitting.

He returns after the other members of the posse have completed the level in order to defeat the FinalBoss.
