** Friar Tuck is man of God and fairly non-violent in the film... until the Sheriff of Nottingham decides that the poor box is fair game for tax collection. For the first time in the film, he shouts in anger ("GET OUT OF MY CHURCH") and proceeds to back his demand by body checking the Sheriff out of the church, where he then grabs a SimpleStaff and puts the Sheriff (who's wielding a sword) on the Defensive before knocking the Sheriff's weapon out of his hand. And the Friar would have won too, had it not been for one of the Sheriff's buzzard minions getting a jump on Tuck from the rear and blinding him with his own hood (and then quickly gets the hell away from Friar Tuck, who has started blindly swinging the staff in the birds direction).
** During the chaos of the Archery Contest, Lady Cluck, Maid Marian's Lady in Waiting, tells Marian to hide as the scene is "No Place for a Lady"... and then proceeds to kick ass and take names, culminating in her playing a one man game of American Football against the Rhino guards who are easily three times her side.
