* ''Series/OutOfThisWorld1987'': [[HumanMomNonhumanDad Donna (Human) and Troy (Antarian)]], Troy is apparently a {{Human Alien|s}}, though the only time he actually appears "in person", he's a somewhat abstract ghostly form. For the rest of the series, he only "appears" by way of a communication cube, which the other characters often treat as though it actually physically ''is'' Troy.

* ''Series/TheOutpost'': Human man Janzo and Blackblood woman Wren become lovers starting in Season 3. The same season also sees Talon (a Blackblood woman) and Garret (a human man) finally resolve their {{UST}} and become lovers as well.

** Most of Kara's LoveInterests are humans. Justified since it was believed that her cousin, Kal-El, was the only other surviving Kryptonian. Even with the reveal that there are other survivors working for Astra, they're all evil, so not exactly topping the list for eligible love interests. Plus one of them is her uncle. [[spoiler:Season 3 reveals that there are actually a community of Kryptonians living in Argo, but Kara chooses to remain on Earth.]]

* ''Series/Supergirl2015'':
** All of Kara's LoveInterests are humans. Justified since it was believed that her cousin, Kal-El, was the only other surviving Kryptonian. Even with the reveal that there are other survivors working for Astra, they're all evil, so not exactly topping the list for eligible love interests. Plus one of them is her uncle.

** Also a romance between Kara and Mon-El (a Daxamite), although they appear to be from related species (there may have been previous examples of this trope between Krypton and Daxam due to the planets' proximity).
** Wynn starts dating a girl from Starhaven. After their first one-night stand, she's surprised that he called her again, figuring that he's one of those humans, who likes to sleep with alien girls but not actually date them. Wynn points out that he doesn't have a problem dating aliens. He just doesn't want to rush into relationships, having been burned in the past.
** Nia gets involved with Brainy in Season 4, though their romance turns out to be really more on-again/off-again. She is half-Human, half-Naltorian, he's Coluan.

* ''Series/TheOutpost'': Human man Janzo and Blackblood woman Wren become lovers starting in Season 3.

** B'Elanna Torres on ''Series/StarTrekVoyager'' often comments that her childhood was not a happy one, because her father "Couldn't handle living with one Klingon, let alone two".

* Teal'c and his wife in ''Series/StargateSG1'', she's human and he's ''[[HumanAliens not quite]]''. Partially justified in that weird things (like genetic memory) happen when two Jaffa get together.

** Dawn and Kenny: human (technically)/demon. Yeah, check out the Jo Chen cover for issue 25 of season 8 to meet all your daily {{Squick}} requirements. There are tentacles.

* ''Series/CarnivalRow'': The one between Philo (a human) and Vignette (a faerie) is the core romance of the show, albeit very much 'off' for most of the first season. Philo is also the product of one himself. [[spoiler:Imogen and Agreus also end up falling in love and running away together at the end of the season one finale.]]
* ''Series/Class2016'' has Charlie/Matteusz (Rhodian-disguised-as-human/human - Charlie's disguise is so full that Matteusz twice explains that he has no apparent anatomical differences) and Quill/Ballon (Quill-disguised-as-human/shapeshifting-Law-locked-in-human-form).

*** The episode "Dear Doctor" had a female human (Crewman Cutler) getting interested in Denobulan doctor Phlox. Whether his sixteen-inch tongue is part of the appeal was not mentioned, but the good doctor did caution her on the cultural differences of his species (Denobulan males are somewhat inhibited, but on the other hand have polyamorous marriages - Phlox has three wives who each have two other husbands). Likewise Trip is squicked out when one of Phlox's wives puts the moves on him and Phlox is excited rather than annoyed.

** Across [=TNG=] and [=DS9=], Lwaxana Troi is shown, either within the show or as backstory, to have been romantically involved with several men, none of whom are Betazoid - Ian Troi (Human, with whom she had 2 children, including main character Deanna), Timicin (Keylon), Campio (Kolostian), and Jeyal (Tavnian, with whom she has a son) - as well as unreciprocated feelings for Jean-Luc Picard (Human) and Odo (Changeling) - though she did marry the latter, in order to get out of her marriage with Jeyal.

** As of season two's finale, Jackson is a [[spoiler: werewolf]] and Lydia is a [[spoiler: banshee (revealed in season 3)]]. This also applies to Danny/Ethan (human/werewolf) and Derek/Jennifer (werewolf/druid).
** Season three sees Scott start a relationship with Kira, a kitsune, while Allison and Isaac (a werewolf) date for a few days before she [[spoiler: [[DroppedABridgeOnHim is killed off]].]] Also in the same season, Scott's MuggleBestFriend Stiles loses his virginity to [[spoiler: Malia Tate, a werecoyote]].

** Matt/Caroline (human/vampire) in season 2. In fact, pretty much every relationship with Caroline falls into this: Tyler/Caroline (werewolf/vampire), Klaus/Caroline (vampire-werewolf hybrid/vampire), Jesse/Caroline (human/vampire). Although [[spoiler: the latter turns into a vampire eventually]].

* Averted in ''Series/TheXFiles''. Though various monster/human relationships are seen, when one character thinks that the reason [[TheGreys an alien]] took human form was because he fell in love with an Earth woman, the alien just laughs (it turns out he fell in love with baseball. And laughter).

** In ''Series/DobutsuSentaiZyuohger,'' four of the six Rangers are from an alternate dimension populated by {{Beast M|an}}en and remain cut off from their world for most of the series. In the post-series movie, the two worlds have become one and humans and "Zyumen" are living together. Misao's rival during a martial arts tournament, who helps him over the course of the story as they figure out the evil plot du jour, is a rhino Zyuman, and they end up falling in love. Thing is, a Zyuman is most definitely ''not'' a human with [[LittleBitBeastly some small, cute hint at an animal nature]] tacked on, and the Zyuohgers' ability to look human is a disguise provided by their changing devices; no other Zyumen have this. Lilian is a rhino on two legs with blond hair thrown in, has no other form, and nobody ever thought she did. Misao loves her all the same. (Similarly, one must wonder what a human looks like to a rhino on two legs...) It's played for laughs at first, but by the end they act like any other couple, with the full support of the others. This makes for the first pairing in either franchise where the non-human member of the OfficialCouple was clearly non-human-looking.

* Tragically played with in the ''Series/{{CSI}}'' episode [[UsefulNotes/FurryFandom "Fur and Loathing"]]; while all the characters involved are physically human, the victim was accidentally killed as an indirect result of his new flame's former boyfriend poisoning him with castor oil for stealing his girl... all on the basis of fursona species segregation (the victim was a raccoon, the girl a lamb, the boyfriend a wolf).

Uhura (flirted with him in a couple of episodes) and Droxine, a human-looking princess (whose interest was reciprocated) from an alien planet in the episode ''Cloud Minders''. His relationship with the Romulan Commander ''The Enterprise Incident'') may or may not count; Vulcans and Romulans are an offshoot of the same species (and a fairly recent offshoot at that, especially given how long both species live).

** In ''Series/StarTrekTheNextGeneration'', K'Ehleyr (herself a Human/Klingon hybrid) has a child with a Klingon.
*** Tasha Yar had a one-night stand with a "fully-functional" android, Data. (She was under the influence of the polywater intoxication, and after recovering, told Data that it "never happened", and he never held her to it. Despite this, Data always had feelings for her later, keeping a holographic photograph of her in his quarters after her death. (In fact, the final from "Skin of Evil", where she was killed, has her final recorded message at the end telling Data "it did happen", taking back the original retraction, but this was cut from the scene due to length.)
*** The Tasha Yar look alike Romulan, who was actually [[spoiler:the daughter she had in an alternate timeline with a Romulan General]].

*** Several interspecies romances and even marriages between the main and recurring characters happen: [[spoiler:Jadzia Dax and Worf (Joined Trill/Klingon), Kira Nerys and Odo (Bajoran/Changeling), Rom and Leeta (Ferengi and Bajoran), Ezri Dax and Bashir (Joined Trill/Human)]] and a recurring mixed species character [[spoiler:Ziyal, the daughter of the Cardassian baddie Dukat and one of his Bajoran mistresses]].
*** In fact, even setting aside [[spoiler: Ezri]], Bashir seems to prefer non-humans-- he had a long-standing crush on Jadzia Dax (joined Trill), a short-term fling with Melora Pazlar (Elaysian), and a moderately-long relationship with Leeta (Bajoran). *** Kes (Ocampa) and Neelix (Talaxian) had a relationship for a while. (Neelix had rescued Kes from a life of slavery on Kazon.) They later broke up because Neelix was being too overprotective, and Kes' last contribution to the crew (where she uses her PsychicPowers to hurl ''Voyager'' and its crew safely beyond Borg space, 9,500 light-years closer to Earth) pretty much ruins any chance of them getting back together. (Of course, given that Ocampa typically only live about nine years, it likely would have been a MayflyDecemberRomance if it had worked out.)
*** Kes (Ocampa) and Tom Paris (Human) also occurs in a parallel time line where the two have a daughter and a grandson.

** Earlier, there was heavy innuendo of MerlinAndNimue between Lyta and '''Kosh'''[[note]]their actors were actually married[[/note]], who was a squid-shaped EnergyBeing. Although the fact that they were both telepathic might have [[MentalAffair helped with the physical incompatibilities]].

** D'Argo gets a lot of this. A Luxan, he was married (and had a child with) a Sebacean ([[HumanAliens human-offshoot]]); had a long-running romance with Chiana (a [[GreenSkinnedSpaceBabe Gray Skinned Space Babe]]); thought about Jool (an Interion); and admitted planning on "approaching" Zhaan ([[PlantAliens human-looking plant]]) in one episode. And this doesn't begin to cover innuendo with random denizens of [[AdventureTowns Adventure Planets]].

** Scorpius (Sebacean/Scarran hybrd) had relationships with Natira, an alien of unknown origin, seemed to flirt with random aliens of the week (M'Lee, Ro'Na), had a relationshop with Sikozu, a Kalish [[spoiler:and a bioloid]], and all that HoYay with Crichton and Braca...

* In ''Series/RedDwarf'', Kryten, an artificially intelligent android, falls head-over-heels for Camille, a shap-shifting genetically engineered life form in her true form of a shapeless green blob.
* In ''Series/{{Roswell}}'', of course, Max, Michael and Isabel, who are bio-engineered human/alien hybrids have their human significant others. It was never explained if they would eventually be able to have children [[spoiler: though it was implied in the tie-in books that Max and Liz would have two children in the future. Zan, Max and Tess' offspring shouldn't count since both Max and Tess are hybrids of the same kind.]]

* In ''Series/{{Smallville}}'', obviously, Clark and any female he is involved with. It helps that he is a {{Human Alien|s}}.

* ''Series/SpaceCases'' does this with the hinted feelings between Harlan and Catalina, Harlan and Suzee, Radu and Elmira, and Radu and Suzee. Granted as a kids show none of these went anywhere, but its still worth note. However excluding Elmira (who is a proper [[GreenSkinnedSpaceBabe Green Skinned Space Teen]]) every alien in this series is a {{Human Alien|s}}. Also, aside from Radu, Suzee & Elmira, the other "aliens" are actually descended from genetically altered humans created to live on other planets in the solar system.

*** One of the more complicates cases in TOS involves Zafram Cochrane (human) and the Companon (an EnergyBeing).

*** The Tasha Yar look alike Romulan, who was actually [[spoiler:the daughter she had in an alternate timeline with a Romulan General.]]

** It was present as early as ''Series/PowerRangersZeo'', when Billy [[IChooseToStay chose to stay]] on Aquitar because he had fallen in love with a colleague who'd helped him find a cure for his aging disease. Notable in that she was amphibious, and he was actively chosing to live long-term on a planet where most all life goes on underwater. Billy, despite being a blue ranger, does ''not'' breathe water. Hey, LoveMakesYouCrazy.

** There's also Damon/Katherine and Stefan/Katherine, back when the Salvatores were human. And Jeremy/Anna (human/vampire) falled into this, as it was before [[spoiler: he became a supernatural hunter).]]

After several close moments across series one and two, the two become trapped in the mystical Neverside realm where magic reins surpreme and where time passes differently for any who serve there (i.e, years pass in this realm while hours pass in our own). In between searching for Lexi's brother, the two reveal the true extent of their feelings and consumate their relationship, producing a child they name after Tom's friend Benny. Ultimately Benny arrives and the family attempt to leave the Neverside with Lexi's brother, but upon leaving, all they had accomplished in the Neverside, including their son, vanishes from existence. Tom and Lexi mourn the loss of the child, and go back to their seperate lives amongst their own people, with the memory of their days together gradually fading until it feels more like a dream.
