** Unfortunately, this wasn't the case in ''VideoGame/KingdomHeartsBirthBySleep'' whereas Anastasia lets her hatred of Cinderella after fitting the glass slippers turn into an Unversed and [[DeathByAdaptation get killed]] [[KillItWithFire messily]], this time [[NeverLiveItDown being remembered]] as an [[MoralEventHorizon irredeemable]] [[CompleteMonster monster]] through and through. This is unlike Iago above, who kept his HeelFaceTurn in the game eventually. Then again, the events of the game happened during the first movie's events and she was not given the chance to feel what love really means, meaning the idea of HeelFaceTurn hasn't really crossed her mind (rather than rejecting the chance).

* Iago from Disney's ''Disney/{{Aladdin}}'' spent the entirety of the first film on Jafar's side. The beginning of the second film, ''The Return of Jafar'', sees Iago escape from Jafar's lamp and slowly turn face over the course of the movie, even [[spoiler:offing Jafar for good by kicking his lamp into magma]]. Not that Iago's [[AntiHero all that heroic]], but his conscience does get the better of him on a number of occasions. He grumbles over it a lot.
** The series also gives us StalkerWithACrush Sadira, who gets over her crush on Aladdin and becomes a friend of the main characters even though she had once swapped places with Jasmine, ''taking over Agrabah'' (but no-one but Iago, Abu, and Rajah remember this.) And Queen Hippsodeth, who kidnaps Jasmine for her [[AmazonBrigade all-female warrior nation]] and then becomes Agrabah's ally because she admires the sultan for being the first person who could defeat her. [[HighHeelFaceTurn None of the male villains change sides though.]]

* Like Iago, ''Disney/{{Cinderella}}'' has a character who starts off rotten to the core in the original movie, and then turns in the sequel, this being Anastasia. The first sequel, ''Disney/CinderellaIIDreamsComeTrue'', has her as one of the protagonists in "An Uncommon Romance", where Cinderella [[LoveRedeems helps her win the heart of a baker she falls in love with]]. But the third movie, ''Disney/CinderellaIIIATwistInTime'', has her start things off by stealing the Fairy Godmother's magic wand and handing it to her mother. From that point on, she poses as the one who the prince fell in love with...and her conscience slowly gets the better of her as she realizes what love really means until, at the end of the film, she can no longer go along with Lady Tremaine's plan, and openly defies her. As such, she's the only one of the three Tremaines [[RedemptionEqualsLife whose story ends with a happily ever after]].

* Subverted with [[spoiler:Tai Lung]] in ''WesternAnimation/KungFuPanda'', who [[WellDoneSonGuy after finally hearing his father-figure tell him he's proud of him, and he's sorry]], very clearly wavers before rejecting the overture and remaining unrepentant. This probably also counts as his WhatAnIdiot moment, since it proves he has still learned nothing, although this editor actually found it all the more tragic and painful because of it.
