* After the genius coyote successfully manages to booby trap a hoop, [[WesternAnimation/BugsBunny Bugs]] gives him the PetTheDog he deserves.

** This is then immediately followed up by WesternAnimation/ElmerFudd & WesternAnimation/YosemiteSam, in full ''Film/PulpFiction''[[note]]which was actually a fairly recent film at the time[[/note]] regalia, saving Wile E. when the Mon-Star who fell victim to the trap grabs Wile E. with the intention of beating him to a pulp for some payback.
** In fact Sam, Elmer and Wile E. seem to be quite liked and get along well with all the other Tunes despite being the "bad guys" in their shorts. Sam is one of the first to jump to Bugs defense when the aliens walk in with him captured (though he gets blasted for it) and Bugs invites Elmer along to their strategy meeting. Though based on the scene on the tv where Wile E and Roadrunner stop going at each other and head on to the town meeting when summoned they're all friends and [[PunchClockVillain only antagonize each other when playing out their roles in the cartoons]].
* The very first minutes of the movie: a Kid Michael Jordan playing with his father at his home's small court, dreaming of becoming a professional basketball player, all while "I Believe I Can Fly" by Music/RKelly plays in the background. It's just beautiful.
** "I Believe I Can Fly" is later reprised in the scene where Michael arrives back on Earth (through the Nerdlucks' spaceship) for his baseball game with Stan annoucing "Ladies and Gentlemen. Michael Jordan!". It's equally as beautiful.
