* At the end, Sundown is given a hero's sendoff as he rides off into the wilds again. He doesn't mind that they didn't have anything to pay him with after all, [[ItsTheJourneyThatCounts he managed to save innocents in the end]]. After he leaves, the Sheriff recalls a story about a legendary gunslinger who got too cocky with winning battles, which led to a band of outlaws razing his hometown. Devastated by this, [[DeathSeeker he put a price on his own head while looking for a nice place to die in]]. The Sheriff now suspects that the man in that story was Sundown himself. Given that in the Final Chapter if he's the protagonist where he no longer seeks death and just wants companionship, it seems that saving Success Town [[MyGreatestSecondChance was his second chance at saving a town from destruction]].

* The endgame has that young couple at the park decide together to get married, [[MomentKiller then they get spooked at the sight of Steel Titan rising from the lake]]. The credits show them chasing after a child, who is implied to be theirs.

* A small but cute moment is when Cube tells Huey he wants to read his book, Huey lifts Cube up to put him in his chair.

* If you go out of your way to visit Kato's room and talk to him after you have defeated the chapter's BigBad [[AIIsACrapshoot OD-10]], in both the remake and the original he tells you how glad he is that he has created you. The remake however adds a SoProudOfYou element making the final speech even more heartwarming. The voice acting in both the Japanese and the English versions is exemplary and it really sounds like a father being happy for his child.

* Should Cube be your main character and you try to recruit Masaru, particularly in the remake, he'll absolutely refuse. Why? Because Cube is just too ''cute'' to be hurt.

* If you fulfilled the requirements for the GoldenEnding, the other three protagonists rush in to help you, despite them showing up late to fight Pure Odio, [[TrueCompanions they still wanted to help your party]]. However, Odio appears again and tries a LastStand to kill them where he subjects everyone to fight their respective Odio incarnation. The lead's response? No matter what happens, they and their friends ''will'' return home.
* In the TrueFinalBoss fight, Oersted manifests the Sin of Odio -- a living incarnation of Oersted's own hatred and all the hatred and darkness in the world. Yet through seeing all seven heroes fight the Sin that he has become a vital part of together, Oersted remembers who he once was and forcibly tears himself free from the boss just as the latter has the entire group of heroes at his mercy. Oersted confronts his own evil and hatred by landing the final blow on Sin of Odio, proving himself stronger than his own hatred with full awareness it will kill him as well, and FINALLY becoming the hero he could have been by saving all of time and space.

** Sundown Kid states that he misses having a place to call home. Oersted admits that for how much his former loved ones put him through hell that he still misses them after being alone for so long in his own misery.

The remake changes this to them riding together, all but stating that they reconciled as friends and Sundown likely told him the truth about the bounty. Plus, Mad Dog found the O. Dio horse again.

* Alethea is utterly ashamed and disgusted with her past actions, crying out of heartbreak over what she did to Oersted and herself. She appears before the heroes without being prompted to (unlike the other citizens of her kingdom), begging for them to help her undo her mistakes and stop Oersted. She then uses the magic power she obtained from being a spirit and teleports them all out of the Mind Dungeon as her atonement, sending them to save Oersted from Odio (or rather, himself) once and for all, proving that she truly does care deeply about him and wants to redeem herself by helping the heroes stop AND save him.
