* For once, Jade is willing to stay behind while the adults go kick ass. Why's that? Because she and Paco are excited to become Santa's -- actually Tohru's -- helpers for the evening, with the two of them even dressed as elves.

* This episode has two moments involving Tohru’s mother, who is usually known to be very hard to please, and always at odds with Uncle. First, she admits she is proud of her son because he [[SubbingForSanta substituted for Santa]]. Second, [[VitriolicBestBuds Uncle]] reveals that he actually bought her a Christmas present.
* For once, Jade is willing to stay behind while the adults go kick ass? Why's that? Because she and Paco are excited to become Santa's -- actually Tohru's -- helpers for the evening.

* After all the talimsan powers are returned, Scruffy is now a normal dog. Jade asks if she can keep him and, surprinsgly, Jackie -- who dismissed it in the first episode of the season -- agrees.

** Despite being heavily injured Tohru insists on going to Hong Kong to help. Uncle gets him to bend doing and recieve [[SignatureMove his signature]] [[DopeSlap "double-finger slap"]] and told to stay here. Because he's injured? Nope, as the old man points out someone has to stay and watch the shop.

[[AC:Attack of the J-Clones]]

* Drago smiling at the thought of making his father Shen Du proud that he would be taking over the world, even though the two demons aren't on the best of terms.

* When Viper pleads innocence for the Jade theft, Jackie believes her (albeit, with some reluctance). After so much hesitation to work with the former super-thief, Jackie is finally beginning to trust Viper.

*** Think about that for a second...Unlce is trusting his liveihood (and thanks to his spell books what is essentially a ''nuclear arsenal'') to man whose threatened his family multiple times and until a few hours ago was an enemy. You can't be surprised that by the end of the episode the big guy's found work and a home at Uncle's shop. Least of all an UndyingLoyalty to the Chan Clan for the rest of the series.

* Tohru's FaceHeelTurn escpecially when rewatching it after the later seasons and knowing the good man he truly is underneath.

* Jade realizing that she can be TheLoad to Jackie, quite often hindering him during their many (mis)adventures together.

* Jade has long assumed that her stern teacher Ms. Hartman [[ChildHater hates kids]], so when Hartman accidentally absorbs the [[WingedHumanoid Sky Demon]] Chi, Jade believes that her transformed teacher wants to eat her own students. But instead, Hartman uses her new powers to protect Jade from Drago's attacks. She later explains that she's a teacher because she ''loves'' children.

* Daolon Wong turns Valmont into a child, after the fallen crime lord demands to have his Enforcers back. When the Enforcers hear about this, they're touched. Later, when Wong attempts to blast off Valmont, the Enforcers suddenly throw their weapons at Wong, and levitate them mere inches away from him. It's so unlike them to stand up to their probably worst BadBoss like that, making it also a CrowningMomentOfAwesome. Too bad Wong quickly puts them in their places, and Valmont is [[UngratefulBastard unsympathetic]] towards their efforts.

* Just the fact that the Enforcers don't want their nephews to repeat their mistakes.

* Finn quits the Dark Hand with the intent of starting his own gang, but his attempts to find henchmen TerribleIntervieweesMontage doesn’t go so well. His luck takes a turn for the better when Ratso and Chow show up, stating that they quit as well just so they can continue working as a trio. Though he tries to be cool about the whole thing, Finn's overjoyed that his friends want to work with him.
