** In a Meta example, this episode inspired Disney to obtain the rights to ''WesternAnimation/OswaldTheLuckyRabbit'' from Universal, to which they finally succeed in 2006. ''Creator/WaltDisney's'' late daughter Diane Disney Miller was happy that the company got her father's creation back.
--->'''Diane Disney Miller:''' When Bob was named CEO, he told me he wanted to bring Oswald back to Disney, and I appreciate that he is a man of his word. Having Oswald around again is going to be a lot of fun.

* In "Pete’s Christmas Caper", Pete learns that everybody on the house staff got together to give him presents, meaning his whole scheme to steal all the presents was for nothing. He still was genuinely touched that they put aside his villainy to do something nice for him. And he gets to repay at least Minnie! Mortimer has been trying to force Minnie to kiss him the whole episode by hanging mistletoe between them. At the end of the episode, Pete arrives and kisses Mortimer instead, and actually shares a high five with Minnie. It’s an act of pure kindness this version of Pete never seems capable of, but he does it nonetheless.

* In “Max’s Embarrassing Date”, Max thinks Goofy will embarrass him while he’s on a date with Roxanne at the House of Mouse. As the date progresses, Max repeatedly gets embarrassed by the House of Mouse staff until Goofy butts in and tells everybody to leave Max and Roxanne alone. Unlike Mickey and his friends, Goofy understands that their attempts to help Max’s date created an embarrassing situation for him. To top it off, Roxanne is grateful to Goofy and Max isn’t embarrassed by his dad when he accidentally causes a ruckus in the dining area.

* Seeing '''''Roxanne''''' once more, and she's still with Max. While it's not explicitly confirmed if ''House of Mouse'' takes place before or after ''An Extremely Goofy Movie'' (the events of that movie aren't stated or implied, though from a chronological perspective, it would git), the fact that Disney did not forget her role is sweet.

While it's not explicitly confirmed if ''House of Mouse'' takes place before or after ''An Extremely Goofy Movie'' (the events of that movie aren't stated or nor implied, though from a chronological perspective, it would git), make sense, especially since Max looks older in House of Mouse), the fact that Disney did not forget her role is sweet.

** Even sweeter is just how ''excited'' the cast is to meet her. It shows just how much Max means to them and how they want to meet the special lady he's with.
